Looking at the latest cash shop "sale" I saw the treasures box, with the description saying it was "a" way to get some of the best avatars, is all this war avatar system just another cash shopper toy? Is it going to be more of a gap between the haves and have nots? When it says "a " way to get some of the best ones, my mind can't help but think it will take 2 years to farm if you don't cash shop it f:weep

so as non cser it takes a bit more time but you can it aswell eventually and is more of an acomplishment in my opinion whats the point of just buying everything in a game and *skip* the majority of the game. b:victory

like it wasnt obvious it would also be partial cs lol

if S was assumingly 1/5000 then i dont really know what to expect of an S+ x,x

Not sure if PWE will be implementing it but supposedly if you collect a number of sets of C/B/A (farmable) cards, you can turn it in for a chest that contains a random B/A/S chest

Ok so, the item matching the description given in the news post is this

Meaning you have:
2.08% to get an S card
6.3% to get an A card
91.62% to get a B card

Furthermore:
B and A cards seem farmable, S cards require the cashshop item.

However, 2 chests that (can) give S cards seem to be quest rewards:
this has a random chance to get a chest that contains C to S cards, it seems to be a daily quest which is also needed to get the items for the new skills.
and this, though the second doesn't state any real quest linked with it.

If we get those quests or not, I have no clue. My best guess is that the first one is a daily quest since it also gives the item needed to craft the new skills but don't hold that against me, i'm just linking stuff im seeing in the database.
There are plenty of quests in there that also give the required item for the new skills so we might as well not get that which would make S cards purely cashshop chance items.

yeah, gold should be HIGHER so noobs can just charge gold and get MORE coin for it.....makes sooooo much sense... while the vet players, and FTPers have a harder time aquiring cs only items cause their coin is not worth as much...yup makes sense..b:scornb:surrender

So you merch 20m per day = 600m per month. But instead of being OP R9.3 you will get g16 "at some point'

So you are G15 and thus an incredible 1 shot in NW, but you post this as if it is proof that you dont need to CS to get to a level where you will be taken serious in the game.

Dont take me wrong, i do agree that you can get there by merching, but this is a bit strange. And i do also think that inflation is a bit high. Espescially after looking at some post recently that showed a 10x gold price increase in 3-4 years or so.

As for the 2%:
We are talking about S cards. Effectively costing 200gold. You want 6 of em, so thats 1200 gold. And that is asuming you get straight away the 6 that you want and no copies. Realistically, you can expect 2000-3000gold more likely.
With them being untradable i think it is pretty expensive stuff. And we dont even know where the S+ cards will come from and what those will cost.

I imagine he moves 20m worth of stuff/day, say 10% profit/item landing to 2m/day profit. But people simply call the things they sell profit, not considering the buying price, which is pretty stupid but meh. I been slacking really badly, need to stack up in certain mats and fill shop with gear, maybe drops prices a bit and just farm like nutjob. Way too high % of my wealth in items atm.

As for the odds? They actually seem pretty decent. We have to remember these arent sale prices and those are bound to happen, maybe not first few months but they are bound to happen sooner or later. Even with these prices A+ cards come out as 48g/pop. 500g and you most likely have full set of least A tier cards with few S cards.

You get 1 S card if you have collected 10 different A cards, goes same for all tiers. So there is decent chance of having enough A cards with 500g investment and uh, 2 months of farming to get 10 different A cards for the free S card. In 500g there should be few S cards in the mix so maybe one needs more like 600g investment for 10 a cards, meh, who knows. To me thats reasonable considering just how powerful items we are talking bout - The full S tier will be more powerful but meh, I dont really consider it worth it. I gotta debate what I get for my archer, full A+ for sure but full S sounds just bit expensive considering I still need things like emperor/NW neck and I cant stash the cards to my sin <.<.

People need to keep in mind how expensive the War Avatar Packs are. We're talking 4 gold each. I know someone on dreamweaver who opened 400 packs (1600 gold worth) and got 1 S card. No need to panic guys. It's going to take a while for even the biggest cashers to get a full S set.

War Avatar Treasure Box: Gives C-S (Boutique Only)
odds: S-1% A-3.5% B-33.84% C-61%

You have a 1% chance of getting an S from the regular Boutique box. The 2% is from the box you can get by trading 10 Flowsilver Coins and 10 War Avatar Catalysts (.4 gold each). But that also means those boxes are currently limited to 2 a day.

So under normal odds, a player would have to spend 2000 gold to get a full S set (not 2400 because they would get 1 free S from the quest line). That doesn't even guarantee that those S cards would be in complect with each other. That 2000 is the absolute minimum, because they may get duplicates for the same slot (e.g. multiple S destroyer cards).

TL;DR It's quite feasible for a regular player to get a full A set in a month or two. It's going to take thousands and thousands of dollars or absurd luck to get a full S set.

(As for Merching, I've made about 3.5-4 billion in profit from merchanting in the past year, it's perfectly feasible to get r9rr and more just by merchanting, it just takes more thought and patience then 99% of players are willing to put in)

No really, S and A cards won't take that long to get. Full A sets can be gotten in a month. What will take long is leveling all the cards and reawakening them, then doing it all over 2x times.

Unless you want to CS tens of thousands of $$, people will need to farm the instance in order to get the B chest (which is free) and gives 5 exp per devour.

You will have to buy from boutique ~$1000 worth for a full S set on average if you farm the instance, but this isn't really that much more expensive than the cost of R9 a year or so ago.

It's basically the next R10.
