500 Dex

Hi all, so I have just level my sin to lvl 100 and I am looking around on Youtube for videos on sin PvE and PvP. something interesting pop up, for those who show their stats on the video, they all seen to have over 500 Dex, I mean am I missing something? there are total of 500 points, and 100 goes to str and rest to dex, I have about 440ish dex. I know R9 thrid recast give 100 dex bonus but those I seen on video all are aps sin. so where are these 80-100 points come from? if someone can educate me on this and how is this attainable, I would greatly appreciate!

Restatting and +dex from items.

For example, Energetic Robe: Lunar Glade has both +6-7 Strength and Dexterity, so in reality that amounts to +12-14 Dexterity. Similarly, Emperor gives +45 Strength and Dexterity, so that's +90 Dexterity total. G16 hat would be another +12-24. TT99 belt has +7-8 Strength.

I would wager that it's actually possible to get pretty close or over 600 Dexterity.

30 DEX engrave on neck (a mystic on my server has 30 mag so 30DEX is within the realm of possibility), Emperor tome, 2X +10 DEX engrave on rings, a good roll on weapon and G16 hat and lots of painstaking rolling and restatting on R8r: 685 DEX

Well that seems a little bit out of reach, I mean sorta just with maybe a pangu or love up and down, one of sin I saw was Skai, he only had a love and down and he had over 520 dex

with a pure dex build you should already have atleast 450 dex at 100/101 getting 50 extra dex is pretty easy with engraving and upgraded tomes.

With aps gear, r9rr dagger and empeor im standing at 599 dex, got average engravings (one of which is vit) so if you look at full r9rr sins they can have well over 700 dex

Basic aps setup. That's my gear, one ring has +7 str which was restatted into dex and the other has +9 dex and neck has +9 dex so I put +18 engraving on ring since calc won't show neck engraving. Weapon also got +18 dex. Total is 540 dex.

Lol, that's quite a bit above "basic". Lunar G13 cape, Sky Cover, G16 dagger and LUAD are not basic, as they all have cheaper alternatives.

And for the purposes of getting maximum dexterity, the G12 lunar cape is better anyway. Not to mention that Seal of Eternal Solitude provides much more dex, too. And if you were after maximum dexterity with SoT tome, you would get Three Scholars and restat.

Though honestly, having this or that much dexterity isn't going to be too meaningful, patk is still a superior stat pretty much whenever you can chooses between the two.
