Well.. I quited PW almost two years ago, and just came by to see how things are... Nation Wars... looks fun! But due to time issues i won't come back (basically I'm glued to another MMO, and having 2 MMO's is bad, really bad)

But someway i happened to reach my wallet history. You know, where you can see how much $ you spent in this game. And to be honest, I'm absolutely horrified. I really didn't have an idea I spent that much money...

I knew I spent a lot. And by a lot I thought it was arround 600$ or so... But. Nope. Just take a look at this:

Almost 1600$. To be exact, 1.512,5$ (,5 because the last purchases were made with Eur instead of $, and I converted those 45Eur purchases into dollars by multiplying by 1,35), from 13/5/2009 to 16/2/2012. There are some months before (when i first joined the game) and after (where I didn't buy anything more 'till i quited), but probably they add up to 4-5 months.

And the MMO i'm now was ~45Eur. Just one time. Been playing for a year an a half, and no more money, and enjoying as much as I enjoyed PWI. [Btw, now it's in a sale for only 24Eur!]

Three years for 1.512$. Woah. Just be carefull on how much money you put into this game, seriously. Think if it's really worth, else you might regret just how I'm doing now
Do anyone of you have anything higher than that? Just wondering~~~ (ofc, If you don't want to share such a personal data, just don't!)

Gotta say F2P is really a success, at least in PWI! No wonder why they're still active...

    3 years for around 175 dollars for me. Not going to spend any more. But yeah... I would have guessed I had spent less too.

    Only time I throw down money in this game is on holiday since people send a gift card to me.And on tax check return I might throw in another 30$,other than that I'm straight up coins and buying gold in the an if I need some.

    I once spent 20 dollars a long time ago. I was just starting my merchanting and due to a typo, i lost 20m. Almost my whole budget at the time. At that point i was ready to give up on the game or fix it like that. So i fixed it.....

    Besides that, i got probably 6 or 7 gold from clicking adds and surveys.
    Everything i write is from PvE perspective unless mentioned otherwise.

    ^ pretty much this, except I've certainly lost a hell of a lot more than 20m to stupid mistakes and I don't think I've gotten more than 3-4g from surveys.

    I think mine is just barely over 2k in bout 3 years or so. I knew it was a lot, had been charging 50/100$ a month for a long periods of time but meh. Least I saved another 100$ with no cyber monday sale :).

    Started in 2010 and spent over $2K within a year then ended up quitting because of some stuff going on outside of the game. I came back recently but said I wasn't going to spend anymore money on any "free to play" games anymore.

    Wow, just wow... I hadn't imagine such huge amounts spent here... I couldn't possibly spend that much, but I guess it comes to each one poket really, if I had a monthly paycheck of 5k

    Apparently I've spent around 500 euro throughout 2009-2010. I mostly used it for mounts, flyers (bought Swiftshadow when it costed 50 gold >.>), some fashion and sold some gold for coin.
    This came from pocket money I saved over the years which I usually used/use to buy video games. Instead of buying more games I just spent on PWI.

    I haven't charged ever since because I saved every cent for college (currently last year) but I wouldn't charge anyway seeing how PWE has been managing the game. I was forced to learn how to farm properly and whatnot but I'm glad I did.

    This was always my excuse for cash shopping. Most people invest into different games/movies and such each month and thus have a monthly entertainment budget. At the time I didn't want to do anything other than play PWI so I just invested my money into the game (and wasted 99% on stuff that wasn't even gears). Looking back at it now though I kind of wish I had invested that money into something with a better return.

    I'm only farming gear now which may take a while, but I'm using the bit of gear I did cash shop (all dated items) to help me farm updated/current end game gear.
