any ideas? I just installed the game after I had work on my computer. Since I got it back yesterday at 3:00pm PST, the game crashed 3 times, and was laggy like hell. I've even tried to Varify the files, but the game still decided to crash. I just can't play like this.

Any ideas how I can fix the problem?

Best guess would be security software causing a problem with the client and/or eating the files.

Going to need more information to be able to say more though.

The best would be a link to a published Speccy report.

Thanks for the info, if it does have something to do with security software, I will try a different Anti-virus. I'm using avast right now, can't find my copy of Kaspersky. I'll try to locate my copy of Kaspersky and try again. If I can find Kaspersky and it works fine after that, I will let you know in case anyone else should have the same prob.

Avast isn't bad, but it will eat the client if you don't exclude it.

Whatever software you use, you MUST exclude the client directory from virus scans, and exclude the .exe files from the firewall.

After you've fixed that, verify the client files three times.

I recently bouth Kaspersky, but am unsure of how to exclude the client directory from virus scans. (I have Kaspersky Internet Security 2013). Does anybody know how I can exclude these files?

tried everything I can, but I'm still having problems. This is a screenshot I've taken awhile ago. Someone said maybe my graphic's card, but when I checked it, it said it was running properly. Any other ideas?messedup_zps94b6af64.png

Run a verify from the launcher.
If that doesn't help, try updating graphics driver.

(or try updating first and then verifying if it still is happening)

At the very last try a reinstall if everything fails...

If I could offer a bit of advice myself... If excluding the files does not work I would really consider finding and doing that Speccy report Sylen nearly always asks for.

I know figuring it out the first time can be a bit of a pain but I promise it helps him (and the others who frequent the help section) a bunch! I had a problem with another game myself and kind of ran out of people to turn to... So I asked Sylen. With the report he fixed TWO of my games, increased the FPS on this one, helped me (by providing the link) to update my graphics card, and even scolded me for not having security software :3 (which I still have not bought. Sorry Sylen Dx)

Point is: The people here can do a lot more for you and your technical problems with that Speccy report.

... Unless you already gave it to them. In which case disregard this :o

    The texture files aren't loading.

    Common causes for this are....

    1. They're corrupt

    2. Your CPU is too slow and didn't load them as fast as the client wanted. (Though in that case the client usually throws an error code and crashes.)

    3. You have 3rd party decoding software that's "decoding" the "video" of the client. (ffdshow is a good example of one that can cause issues if it's incorrectly configured.)

For the first, verify the files three times back to back and then reboot the PC.

For the second, just shut down extra ****. (I can be a lot more specific on that with a Speccy report.)

For the third, I'd need a Speccy report and a copy of the output from dxdiag.
