Daily Attendance fix for Rollback

The daily attendance system gives monthly rewards for all those who 'check in' everyday and missing a max of 3 days. The rollback -- even though I checked in those days -- causes all toons to have 4 days missed this month and therefore nobody can possibly get the monthly reward for November.

To fix this either:
A) next update, make it so every player is given those days as 'checked in'

or

B) Set the threshold for getting the monthly award at 23 instead of 27 to allow for the missed days.

Either solution would give no bonus whatsoever to anyone who didn't check in every other day as required but would make it right for all those that did.

Note: I have no idea what category this would go under so I didn't include one.

Given that your first choice is not likely even remotely possible, it's not going to happen.
    You're talking about someone...
    A. actually knowing which values to change in your characters xml data sheet.
    B. Actually having permission to change that information. (Not something our Dev's are allowed to do.)
    C. Manually editing the code for everyone that's affected. (You'll have to figure out who logged in on what days and would have had the chance to do it, and then manually editing each individuals code to correct the data.) I mean, at a minimum the sheer man hours involved and the possibility of human error completely borking your toons makes this completely unfeasible.

For your second option, you're talking about changing some core came code in the quests. Not only would it affect just the one month, but it would affect every month, and for every server.
Now that you've considered that, here's what it would take to implement...
    A. Someone high in the PWE food chain would have to notice the suggestion.
    B. It would have to be presented to management after being discussed among the peers in section A for feasibility.
    C. Management would have to approve the change, and then forward it on to the PW management in Beijing, China.
    D. Assuming that everything goes through swimmingly, management gives the change request to the Developers.
    E. The developers code it.
    F. It then gets converted to our English client.
    G. It's then tested on the beta servers. (Only very mildly, and by Chinese Dev's and maybe a few select players.)
    H. Assuming it doesn't completely break something, it's sent to us in a patch.
    I. Happy Easter by the way. Didn't do you a whole lot of good 6 months ago when you wanted it.
    J. In a future patch they'll forget that we have this special coding that's different from all the other versions and it will be left out. You're back to being screwed again, but now everyone is complaining that they have to get more than 23 days.

And yes, that is the actual process. I've watched code follow it before. If you're lucky, it's 3 months.

From here on all I could do was laugh... because it's so accurate and I absolutely enjoyed how that was worded.

Hm... Maybe they could give them those absence notes tho, or however it's called.

That can't be too complicated... Right? f:confused

Isn't the attendance reward 5 hyper exp stones? They gave a code for 5 hyper exp stones. I don't see the problem.

Unfortunately the people who are running the game doesn't play it, and so they don't know what the absent notes are xD But yea I agree that it would have been the best solution for the missing attendances.
