Dragon Orb Ocean Bug ?

Today between 3 and 4 am server time over 10 Dragon Orbs were gotten from packs .. 2 times even one after another by the same ppls. Is there a bug with Fire packs ? Hope we wont get a rollback for this.

    No.
    It's because people that have a toon on the archosaur server, and have been playing within the days the rollback was set to (e.g. if you've played between 9-11 and 14-11 on archosaur server) have got an email with a code to redeem for some items, of which one is a bound 10* orb that can only be used on bound equipment.

    They just forgot to set the code so that it only can be sent to archosaur server, so instead people can send it to any server they have a toon on.

    What's making things worse is that people on archosaur are selling the codes for 25m or so, which also lures a lot of scammers to do so but well, people.

    1 rollback on 1 server, and suddenly everyone is obsessed with rollbacks for every single thing ppl think is a bug b:laugh

    Thats why sometimes i feel that this game fails.
    To be honest i think those who did that should be banned, im sure pwi staff can figure that out and if not there's lots of people with ss's, maybe its just like the dreamchaser packs that lots of people made millions with that glitch and pwi did nothing about.

    It's crazy how so many people get their panties in a wad just because they did not get what someone else got that they the complainant did not earn but someone else did earn. Don't hate on them gezz guys they all lost something that You did Not and if PWI wants to say hey thank you for still playing then whoop whoop to PWI for saying hey we thank you for still playing our Free To Play game and not giving up on us.

    PWI gave a gift of compensation to players who lost time coin experience items, etc. They know that like me many of us they have a charter on several servers and PWI knowing this, they set up the gift of compensation to be used on any of their active playing charters again I have to say whoop whoop to PWI for saying Thank You. Not many other Free To Play games would have done that for their players.

    On a side note we don't own our accounts PWI owns them, they could have simply said they had a roll back - deal with it... because it is a Free To Play Game and as a Free To Play game PWI can do anything they want with any of Their Charters.

    I for one am happy for the players who received the gift of compensation. Congratz you all b:victory

    yah but they fact people are getting 10 is causing even more unbalance to a unbalanced game now these people will have plus 10 belts and necks making it harder for people like me to kill them.

    u must be on a pve server and dont understand how everyone getting a ton of plus 10 orbs can cause a issue.

    I agree with you 100% For those of us that actually lost what we gained during those times its a really nice reward. TY PWI for your extraordinary gift I really appreciate it.
    There will ayes be people that complain about cold being cold hot being hot and blue being blue. Its the same story since the dawn of time. I myself am grateful for what you have done. Like Many Others I have many Active Toons on Different servers.

    Actually, most f2p games are much more respectful to their player base and offer free compensations as apologies regularly. PWI is the worst I've ever seen at admitting thier mistakes or apologizing for them, despite its long history of glitches and almost equally as long history of not fixing glitches.

    I have nothing against the rewards or the fact that people used them to sell or gear up on other servers. In fact, kudos to PWI for taking the initiative to perform customer service for once. There probably should have been a time requirement, lets say at least 2 hours logged in, before getting a $25 reward which are currently selling for 60m+ on my server. But I understand PWI is probably back logged already trying to fix the glitch and targeting who specifically was effected by it is even more work and delay.

    The thing that concerns me the most is the 2 account rule. We have the same people pulling down 5-10 Ocean Orbs on my server because they have 5-10 accounts on other servers while their main is on Sanctuary. PWI should use this as an opportunity to ban some of these people who are in ToS violations and are claiming 5-10 times the amount of compensation.
    Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory

    sure sure guys, i also would say tyvw pwi when i had 10 lvl1 toons on archosaur during the 4 days. it's really nice to have 20 +10 orbs for free which i can use on my main server.
    this is a dam ***** scam against all player who worked hard or bought this sh.it for 25$ or more and nothing will change my mind.
    the best way now is to create tons of accounts and toons on each server because the chance to get a reroll again on any server is high. so i can stop wasting a lot of work and cash in that game.
    this has nothing to do with qq or being jealous.
    for archosaur only it's ok, but to use it on each server ......pffft

    <--- On a pve server, does NOT think it's ok that people are getting this on any server. It's some serious bs. D: (I am so not the only one on a pve server upset about this either.) They SO should have made it useable on archo, and only on archosuar. (they did in fact deserve to be compensated, but still its ridiculous that they can use it on any server.)

    If it was supposed to be a reward to all servers then i dont see a problem. Well i do have a toon on archo should had logged it on rollback i guess, lmao.

    Btw its 20 ocean orbs? i thought was 2

    For me I can not complain about a Free Game I still play despite the few bugs here and there after all it's F2P and I continent to play knowing the bugs are there. I make that choice every time I log onto the game. I can not and will not complain about a choice I continue to make. But that's just me...

    Milty-Clienting - See Official Announcements in the Forums http://www.perfectworld.com/about/terms - It says Two Accounts Can be logged at one time. There is nothing in the Term of Service http://www.perfectworld.com/about/terms about how many accounts any player can have however it is listed on the Official Announcement.

    I agree 100% kudos to PWI for giving them a gift of compensation. The thing with people who have 4 or 5 accounts - it's a hard one tbh for me to judge them, who am I to judge I am just a player not a GM, a lot of those players had their account long before the Official Announcement Rule change, they never abused the game nor any other player. But now that they were fortunate enough to get the gift people want to slam on them. hummm .... and lets consider something else - They are some seriously addicted PWI players b:chuckle ***"can we all say"*** My Name is ....... and I am addicted to crab meat and tiger smiles.

    I am fairly sure there was a post about only allowing 2 accounts per person, they said (<--- keyword) that they could see who had more than 1 account, and families were rightfully in an uproar about it. I may just have to see if I can find that post again... but tbh I don't think they have actively enforced it... but still... the potential for abuse with having 10 accounts logged in at any time during that period... with how it can be used on any server... is ridiculously high.

    As for it being only 2 dragon orbs, I am fairly sure it was actually 3 in total, they got 1 from the initial email, then Defender came on here and posted that updated, and the new email is giving out 2 additional orbs in addition to that first email, so each person is indeed getting a total of 3 codes to be used on any server. D:

    GG, logged in and saw smb. getting oceans on red spam, PWI inbred idiots better do smth. about it, people merch/farm money for months to be able to afford at least 1 ocean, now ****ers are exploiting your fail system of delivery, sigh, I don`t know how can they make money as a company with such stupidity they demonstrate...

    nope this isnt' a bug, players who logged into archosaur during the rollback period received some orbs. The players receiving more than 6 orbs (it was 3 per account) probably have more than 2 accounts. Whether or not that's a violation depends on when they created the account. Accounts created before the 2 account restriction were permitted to keep their extra accounts legally, so long as they didn't log more than 2 a time in. So, someone receiving multiple orbs may not actually be in violation of any rule breaking. Whether or not this is fair is being debated in a thread specifically for that, and in the arch roll back sticky. http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1643971 Which is where I ask that you please move the conversation.
