PWI shouldn't have account/char bound items

Any item that goes into my inventory for any reason, is mine and IT SHOULD BE TRADEABLE. I should have ownership and control of all items in MY inventory.

    OP, retitled some of your threads so that the front page isn't spammed with the same title over and over again. Please try to use more descriptive titles in the future rather than just spamming.

    As for the thread itself, I disagree. Just because you have an item in your inventory, doesn't mean you should be able to do whatever you want with it. This is a game. They have to balance things out to make sure that other players effort is rewarded. And they have to be able to make money. There are more needs than just your own. And most things that are bound have some non-bound alternative if it is important to you, e.g. going the lunar route if you don't want bound g16 gear. At which point it was your decision and not anyone else's problem but your own.

    To an extent I agree, some items are annoying that they are character bound and account locked when you wanna use them on your own characters. My 5000 hyper EXP stones bound to this Sin since the heroic chest promotion that glitched (ty pwi!) is one example. Feels silly to have to buy hypers for my alts xD But should all items no matter what be tradeable? Nope, that would be stupid, plus it would effect the economy badly. They would have to stop giving out free bound stuff instead, would you rather want that? xD

    If you read the items descriptions - they will tell you things such as "bound once equipped" so there is no surprises.

    This binding is done for many reasons...

    personally, i like the binding of items, if you were **** and had valuables that can be binded but aren't as your requesting, you could lose them.

    Looking at it from another perspective.
    I was playing another game not so long ago were all items were trade-able.
    Nothing was account / character bound.

    Seems great right?

    Wrong, The community wanted a password set on items and items to be made bound ( would of paid for it. )
    Because there was so much scamming and hacking going around.

    I like how it is set-up on this server, we have it so good. you don't even know it:P


    also in regards to OP or Thread opener, however you want to call it.
    You own nothing. everything is owned by PWI

    "You own nothing" is way too strong for this, pwi owns everything that is apart of their code (includes armor, weapons, potions, etc) that brought us this game, everything else that isn't apart of the code is debatable. I.E: The time spent playing this game.

    The terms of service says that PWI retains possession of all virtual goods. That being said the fact that people pay real money to acquire them automatically kicks in certain consumer protections. There is a very strong precedent for owning intangible goods so if it ever came to a court you'd probably win. Federal law trumps the terms of service and there's no legal ability for you to agree to give up protected rights. That's only for US citizens though.

    The only thing I can see that I'd complain about is too many things aren't allowed to be account stashed. All the extra little mounts, pets, or assorted stuff that I'd like to move from my main to the other toon I'm working on... Most of it can be stashed, but not everything.
    If you bite some one, they get mad and smack you.
    But if you lick them, you still get the flavor.
    And they think you're weird.
