event times

there is a posted time for the Auspicious Contest and Quick as the Wind event yet these event arent on time at all b:angry

today the 1st set of events were late by almost 20 minutes the 2nd was again late and now the 3rd is about to end and its 40 minutes early >.>

the Quick as the Wind event that should start right after the Auspicious Contest ends and has been late by atleast 15 minutes all but 1 time

so why bother posting times at all? GMs just starts it whenever they feel like it as long as its around a hour +/- of the posted event time >.>

    I've never had or seen a problem with event times

    any event that is auto set to go off at a specific time like the tiger event will be on time since they dont need someone to manually turn it on.. a temporary or a new event usually needs to be turned on manually and when they need to be manually turned on they are late very often

    Well, crisis averted xD Red text popped up again around 6:50pm server time for the Quick as the Wind event, which doesn't actually have a set time, just "following shortly after the Auspicious event" or something around those lines. Though I guess I can see why some people would be frustrated at the Auspicious event's lack of punctuality.

    I wonder who slipped and hit the event button on the 40 minute early event though b:chuckle

    when pwi said event start at 11:00 am this mean event should start at that time not start at 11:45.or later XD b:surrender

    The news post states that the first should start at 11am PDT. It is now 11:42am PDT.

    Halloween is coming up so you can expect to get quite a lot of goodies and treats this week! To celebrate we'll be having back to back events running the whole week. Starting Monday 10/28 until Friday 11/4 we'll be running the popular Auspicious Contest everyday at 11am PDT, 3pm PDT, and 6pm PDT.

    Agreed, it's like 3am here b:surrender as if I'd just sleep and go to the latest time slot which would be ~9am for me. But no seriously it would be wonderful if we could get some kinda something about this.

    everyone didn't you know PWI's version of Halloween is actually April Fools and Christmas all rolled into one

    Their present to us?!? a big fat middle finger!

    2x but ha wait around for an event we won't bother doing

    Well a server restart can make unecceptable problems, like always in PWI, and its complicated to start those events, i dont know why are everyone QQ...whats unusual about this??? b:victory

    the maintenance was last night b:surrender every one of the events since they announced the scheduled on monday has be late or early .. so the maintenance doesnt explain this at all

    and the fact that theres been no GM/CM saying theres been technical problems tells me they simply forgot or cant be bothered to start the events

    They know its an issue so why couldn't they be prepared, because they don't care about their community and our time, the time we waste waiting for things that never happen or happen so far after that even though we have waited 2 hrs the minute we walk away it would start.

    They want money for their time to make this game, I get that making money is the only way to keep a game going, yet they have no respect for our time or efforts that we put in to play.
