Which PvE West Server is most active/has the highest population?

Well, after several months of not playing, I decided to come back to PWI. Currently, I have three high-level characters on the Lost City server, but I'm thinking about moving to a PvE server. I've just been finding it really difficult to get any culti help or find squads in Lost City and the PvP is too unbalanced by cash shoppers and rrr9.
I'm looking for opinions on which PvE server would be the best to start fresh on. It would be nice to hear from people who have played on more than one server, but any input is appreciated.

Pro fail considering it was a different player who posted links than the 1 TZoner was talking to , point been all that was needed said was either "here's the link....." or " please use search function this has recently been answered" putting links in in different coloured words is not always clear as most often its a link to a picture of a pony not the most constructive help0 -

Its funny cuz most people dont know HOW to use the search function so if you ask me if he wants CURRENT info on what server is a good PVE server to go to the best way is to start a new thread just like he did. To answer your question i dont have any personal experience on many servers but i can say that i do LOVE Raging Tide. It is quite active. I have played there 2 years and wouldnt leave it for the world![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

if people dont know how to use search youll just use search for them everytime they ask until the end of time? or tell them to go figure out something a 2nd grader can do0 -

Its funny again how u continue to sit on your point. I only insult people when they are clearly deserving of an insult. As for the requirement of using the search function first rather than do the moderators job for them why dont u let them say something to him? in the mean time instead of going onto his thread and being a nuisance u could offer LEGIT VALID HELP. As for teaching to fish......that just makes no sense to me. Please just back off and let this guy get the info he is asking for. If a moderator has an issue with his thread THEY can say so. No one not working for PWE has exact figures, and they aren't saying. That said, it's either Sanctuary or Heaven's Tear, which are very nearly the same age and date to about when the game came out of beta. Archosaur is much newer (even though several years old itself) and generally thought of as lower population.
You could always make a cleric on each server, fly to Archosaur and judge relative population for yourself.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I can absolutely state that Raging Tide (PvE) has a greater population than Harshlands (PvP). Whereas Raging Tide server has severely decreased in population over the last year or two... In just the past 6-8 months, Harshlands has really been hit with an epidemic it seems.
Harshlands as a PvP server had harassment issues months ago. This is based on personal experience there and having chitchatted with enough people on Raging Tide, and even people in another game I play that also came from PWI. Of course people do not feel like getting PK'd over and over by Rank 9+ fails while questing at lowbie levels... At least have the balls to PK my a$$ with a level appropriate toon for the questing area.
I have been playing on Harshlands myself in the last few weeks, and not even once have I been PK'd by anyone while questing from level 1 to 60+ already. This is compared to just 6-8 months ago having been getting PK'd from 30-50-ish where I stopped playing that character (and no, that is NOT why I stopped on that toon). The ONLY time I got PK'd was for my level 40-ish "need to die quest"... but I initiated that attack on them outside Silver Pool.
There is nearly no gear whatsoever on Harshlands' Elite Gears lists available to be purchased as you level up, and even Molds are scarce. Raging Tide at least still usually has a few pages worth of this stuff. This practically forces you to go to FC in order to powerlevel... Sure, you can find a 3-4 person squad every so often, but otherwise its dead or you get some high level doing it for you... not good in any game.
If I had to guess, and do note I only can really compare these 2 server populations... I would guess that the PvP populations are very low compared to any of the PvE populations... Beyond that, not sure... But I suggest just going to the first Auction you can and looking over the "Elite - General Gear" (for weapons, armors and ornaments) and look over the bottom tab "Molds". If there are not at least a page to 3 pages on these... be weary.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

In response to some of the people who posted first, I did actually use the forum search before creating this thread and came up with some fairly good results, including two of the threads that were linked here. However, with the exception of that one month-old thread, most of the info I found was pretty dated so I just thought I'd make a new thread to see if I could get some more current info from the community. Yeah, I expect so. Thanks for the info. I actually didn't know that Archosaur was newer than the other two servers.
I spent a few hours last night making new characters and exploring each of the three servers (Archosaur, Heaven's Tear, and Sanctuary). From what I've seen so far, Archosaur and Sanctuary seemed to be the more active of the three servers, although it's hard to tell from simply wandering around City of the Lost and reading WC at any given time of day. That's a good idea. I'll take a look at the auction houses on each server. Unfortunately, Raging Tides isn't really an option for me due to higher latency and a different time zone. As a result, I'm only looking to join one of the three US West servers.0 -

Hello, I've played on Archosaur and Heavens Tear and out of the two Heavens Tear is the most populated. Also from what I've heard in the last while there's a chance that Sanctuary might even be more active. b:victory0 -
Can't vouch for the other servers, but yeah Sanctuary seems to be going pretty strong.
Not sure how many new players there are, but surprisingly, while I polish off my quest list all together I still see once and a while a new player questing, etc. That made me very happy to see. b:cute[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
