Confused About Removal of DQ Points

Since they will be removing DQ points, will they be removing the event boutique? Because that is the main way in which people get event gold. Or will event gold just become harder to come by?

    As I understand it the removal of DQ coin values (only low level so far) and some low level mats was done because of the use of BOTS to make coin which occurred on the Chinese servers. I don't know why it has anything to do with other servers but it screws players from getting start-up coin to support just getting around and buying stuff like a Pick Axe, WTF.
    Just another thing PWI does to shaft its players even though it tries to make up for it by giving us other stuff which really does not help those new players coming into the game. Stupid and Dumb as usual.

    To my understanding, there has not been any word about the Event Boutique being removed at all. Before the DQ reward system the Event Boutique was in place for a long time, and will not be removed because the DQ reward system is. Event gold is still available through other means.

    never used it for event gold.people may complain about this issue on the dq system but really this is done for a reason,you all jump so fast to things so be patient the world isn't going to end.b:victory

    You can also intelligently invest in gold and when they come up with these new charge rewards that give you charge money just for spending boutique gold (not only for charging/transfering zen), it doesn't come down to luck but smarts.

    I doubt they'll remove the event boutique seeing as there are other ways to obtain event gold. DQ point system wasn't made for the event boutique but it was simply one more way ot obtain said event gold.

    As far as I know event gold can be acquired through the tiger event. I've never been to one due to timezone conflicts so I have no idea how hard it is to obtain any Sage/Demon cards.

    Another way is through charge rewards. Buy gold through the AH or directly charge zen then spend the gold and earn points to exchange for cards.

    Lastly, various promotions that usually offer these cards for buying certain items (usually packs, chips, mogs or charms).

    Since I'd usually miss the archosaur assaults and i didn't always have time to farm DQ, most of my event gold came through charge rewards or promotions. Of course, this requires you to have some coin in order to buy gold but you can usually re-sell the items you buy at promotions to get your coin back (or sometimes even make a profit).
