Bohemian Top glove/bracer glitch

Hello!

I would like to report an error I have discovered, regarding fashion items. When wearing the Bohemian Top, the gloves/bracers are invisible! Which means there is no meaning in equipping some gloves when wearing that specific top. I have a venomancer and an earthguard and the error appears on both characters.

Regards,
Kristoffer

Step 1: Ensure that you have taken the proper precautions with your antivirus and security software.

Step 2: Verify your files 3 times. Not one, Not two, THREE times.

Step 3: Ensure that your video card drivers are up to date. If you need to update them, perform a clean install. (Should be an option under advanced settings when installing.)

Step 4: Reboot your computer. Give it time to completely boot. Go get coffee or something. Just because you can see your desktop, does not mean it's done booting.

    Step 5: Try again.

Step 6: If the problem persists, you will not likely be able to get any further help here. It's likely an issue with the code, and for that, you will need to submit a ticket.

If you really do want me to take a look into it in more detail after step 6, I will need a copy of the output from a dxdiag.txt file, and a link to a published Speccy report taken while you are having the issues.
(Remember to use the [code] tags for the dxdiag info and to remove any trademark characters so it doesn't get cut off.) (CODE tag is the # symbol in the editor.)

While I agree with many of your posts, i think this one might be a little farfetched.
First off have you checked the fashion he refers to and verified you don't experience the same error?
Seems to me that first step would save a LOT of time. >__>

If you do not have the same error, then I'd just jump straight to verifying files.
If there were a conflict with his antivirus/firewall during verification he could see it visually (in most cases and assuming he has not turned off notifications).

This actually happens with quite some fashion. Some tops just don't show any gloves. Other examples are the wingspan gown or the cowgirl gown.

I suppose they had it like this back then to avoid clipping glitches, but it really doesn't make sense with the bohemian top for example. There's nothing it could glitch with o_o

First of all, thank you all for your replies and for taking your time to find solutions!

Before I do all those things, could one of you guys maybe if you have time sometimes check if they experience the same error with the Bohemian Top? That would save a lot of time! As Xainou said, it appears to happen with multiple fashion items.

I would have checked it if I weren't at work.

Because 90% of the time someone has a problem like this, it's the AV software, That's why I posted what I did.
I always mention it first thing because a LOT of people don't bother to take the necessary precautions in regards to their security software and the client. Then they wonder why they have issues with corrupt or missing files.

Do you have any idea of the number of kids that just lick the boxes away without actually reading them?b:chuckle It's easy to miss, and a lot of the newer cheap AV applications don't notify you on a lot of stuff just to make it "user friendly".

In any case, it can't hurt to follow the steps that I laid out. If it's a known issue with a fashion combination, then they will likely find that out when they follow Step 6 and get a response.

Thanks bro I appreciate your time. I am at this very moment verifying my files and I have disabled AV and stuff like that. By the way, how do you submit at ticket? What is a ticket? Is it when you report in-game via the GM button?

Click the Customer Support link in my signature for a fast way to it.

When my signature isn't there, simply click the link that says "Support" at the top of the page. From there, you'd fill out the appropriate information from the "Contact Us" tab hat will be on the page it takes you to.

    Thank you my friend!

EDIT: Now I have tried all the stuff and nothing helped so I sent a ticket!
