End Game BUDGET PVE Gear

I'm curious as to the best end-game gear for pve players that are on a tight budget. I'm talking about 150m or less, for weapon+ armor (not including cape, ornaments).

So far I've been thinking:

1. R7 armor with R8 weapon.
2. 95/101 Morai Gear
3. T3, think is what they call it these days. The g15 Dragon Rise or Sacred Legate stuff.

I could be wrong on these prices, it's been awhile. Any other ideas, or corrections to prices are appreciated.

    Morai gear was an incredible value last year, but the situation has changed with the introduction of NW. I would not recommend getting it now. Having said that, it's still amazing gear for PVE, but little better than TT99 for PVP. Also pets do not benefit from your slaying levels like they do with attack levels.

    Best overall value is T3 (G16) Nirvana. Cannies and raps are super cheap now, so the hardest part is getting the base mats. I don't know prices on your server but 150m should put you in pretty good shape. On Sanctuary 60m would get you a G16 weapon pretty easily.

    I wouldn't bother with rank gear, it's a poor use of your budget.

    G16.

    It's the easiest to get and the cheapest and the best for people that don't have the money/time to get R9rr.

    1. there is no reason to have r7 armor and r8 weapon. unless r7 has boots/wrists for cheap, you can substitute those for the r8 ones since they are unreasonably expensive.

    2. 95 morai is...not that bad as a filler. weapon would be weak for heals. 101 is a bit overpriced, especially since you will eventually pvp a bit XD

    3. g15 is T2, T3 is g16. if you get g15 you can easily farm your way to T3 (it might take a bit longer).

    My first aim would be something like this: http://pwcalc.com/6d272a3050b6610a
    then slowly work to replace pants+hat with g15/6 and finally do the cape + chest
    by then you would have enough warsong badges for a belt.
    note that it will be cheaper to buy a sword made; you might even get a really sweet deal for a +10 sword. in that case, pump some more vit to cover your squishiness.

    Well, for now, based on rep prices on my server. I'm going to start with r7 armor set (with mods, has more pdef and hp than r8, according to pwcalc). Already have a lvl 100 weapon now, and a decent cape for 90. So, it's a start, then I can start doing nw at 100 and actually make a bit of money to work towards g16.

    Scored sinrabansho for like 15m. 2 soc. so will be going with that until I can afford g16

    I don't get why people even get rep anymore, unless they're sins/archer/BMs or going r9 at some point.

    The only reason would be R8r weapon with defence levels but that's mostly for PvP.
    I'd rather the regular G16 weapon with attack levels for PvE.

    Oh idk, maybe because for some people, rep gear...at least r7/8 is cheaper than g16...or they get it as a starter to be able to work towards g16?

    Morai is cheapest and easy to farm.

    Espescially if you dont like meddling into the economy to much and rather prefer to make your own stuff, G16 is actually a bit of an endeavour. If you were to simply buy all the parts from other players, youd spend 500m on your complete equipment including some moderate refines and sharding. (+6, immaculate)

    If you are absolutely sure you dont want to PvP, morai can be a good alternative. It does take time to farm. A few months of doing dayly quests (15 minutes per day) and a little coin. This to me seems like a good option to this rare type of player who actually has a healthy real life and limits his PWI to an hour or maybe 2 per day.

    Surely morai is weaker than G16, and if you do end up being more active than expected you will regret going for untradable, unupgradable stuff.
    However it is also true that many players could be more succesfull if they set their targets lower. I see a bazillion of players dressed in a half set of R9.3+4 who could for the same money be full G16+10. Likewise, there are many players struggling ages to get their gear to G16, meanwhile wearing a rif-raf of different grade items who would be stronger PvE toons wearing a full set of morai+6

    So ye choose the right price bracket:
    morai: 100m (play half a year, 30 minutes+ per day)
    G16: 500m (play half a year - 1 year, 2 hours+ per day)
    R9.3: 3000m (play 2 years, 8 hours per day)

    ^ This is a good point. Mediocre gear with good refines is better than top gear with bad refines. I was one of the few players who embraced Morai gear when it came out. People laughed when I +10'd my Morai 101 armor and said it was no good for PVP. Then they wondered why they couldn't kill me...

    But again, that was before NW and the rap/canny crash. I don't think full G16 will cost you anywhere near 500m, more like 200m at most (unless your server has a vastly different economy than ours).

    The difference between 100m and 500m is a lot of ocean orbs for refining. But between 100m and 200m? Not such a big difference; get the G16.

    7 items 30-50m each = 250-300 ish. a bit of sharding and refing, add some rings etc makes 500.

    With morai gear you choose cheaper shards/refines etc. I try to compare gear levels as a whole. Something like:
    Morai +5 flawless with +7 weapon.
    G16+7 immac with +10 weapon.
    R9.3+10 vit stone with +12 weapon.
    Everything i write is from PvE perspective unless mentioned otherwise.

    lets see im 100 and am in g15, total money spent 0$ maybe 40 mill for my tt gold mats, but thanks to nw the raps and cannies took me like 8 nw's to get, but that depends on alot of things.

    I consider farming time a cost as well. In the case of morai we speak of ~100 days x 15 minutes = 25 hours. Most of those you would need to make for your skills anyway.

    And to all those out there suggesting g16, read the OP. g16 isn't even mentioned. I did mention g16 a couple times in response to the posts about g16, but still. g16 was never an option.

    And, I have my gear planned and most of it complete. So may as well close this thread, or whatever.

    If you get G15 (Dragon rise set or Sacred Legate set), which you did list in the first post, there's no reason not to upgrade to G16.
    The hardest part of the Nirvana gear is getting the materials to make the base (Lunar or TT) and the Uncannies/Raptures (which aren't so expensive nowadays) so you'd be almost there.

    This is why people were suggesting it.

    You also said T3 which is third tier Nirvana aka G16. But again G15->G16 is relatively cheap. It's the base materials for TT99/Lunar where the cost is incurred.

    G16 is a joke to get, the person just need badges and essences.

    The advantage of mystic is it's really easy to solo a pav in Warsong even without great gears.

    So the OP need to farm/buy TT99, which is under 150m, after that he can do NW for cannies/rapt and do full Warsong to get the badges and mold.

    Or he can buy crafting services too or ask friends/guilds.
