    Merge is the wrong way.

    In Europe we had a merge. Some weeks was very much people online, but now some month after the merge are just arround 10-20% more online then before the merge.

    There are other better ways to get more people on Servers

    You didn't need to make two diff threads on the same subject b:chuckle
    Also, though this may be needed, there is some difficulties merging the older servers cuz each server has its own database, so nicknames may have been used on two diff servers, it may be possible to solve it somehow like let the players change their names if someone else also has it, but it could cause trouble with ppl "fighting" to keep their name, also things like mailbox could bug.. and considering that recently they had trouble with the inumerous email change requests, i think this is very unlikely :P

    I sadly have to agree that a server merge might be a viable option here. Everyone knows everyone on the server everyone is connected one way or another and this world is truly a small world, it's like your neighbors that you see everyday. There are no new people any low level char is an alt of someone 100+. The community keeps getting smaller and smaller, looking at the numbers it's surprising that only about 600 people show up to nw. The game feels barren at points and that's because of a shrinking community.

    I'd be amused but then again, as the name says I'm evil. And I miss world PvP.

    True... In NW we currently have same amount of people in Morai (merged server) that we did have on Lothranis just before the merge. Maybe we would be even less without the merge but this is obvious that this merge was a reason for some people to stop the game.

    If new players have no other way to play than level up to 100+ and quit, then what you want from merged servers ?

    FC leveling exclude from the game most of instances and quests, game lost it's content.

    I checked the Lost City sever and the reason why the server isnt fun is because of that TW Map!!

    1 faction control the TW map = DEAD SERVER !!

    people will surely return to play if these ****** lazy *** devs will move their ****** lazy *** to make content updates more ****** often

    how come other companies bring dlcs and content updates every damn week and PWI is good if we get some once a year faks sake frustrating

    this is ****, if i would've been pwe ceo i would start fire blindly...i dont know if the problem is the assets, or the assets' management but it's deftly not good at all.

    i hate to see my friends quitting, cause they log in and they got nofckinthing to do in game

    Agree with Miranah--- server merge is needed or something else.

    Lost City is almost a ghost town at the moment... even attendance in NW is LOW.

    As for the possible double names easily solved: person who had the name first gets to keep it. Seniority rules.

    Bringing new people to this game is kind of a waste....they will grow up to be like the rest of the frost babies. Can't play their class, QQ that everything is so hard, know 0 about game mechanics let alone the gap in gear unless they want to spend big bucks to catch up.



    PWI could also implement some kind of instance where any server can enter to open map PVP. Like another popular MMO has. It could have world bosses that drop useful items, quests etc. As for the naming issue easy: LCJesya, LCMiranah, RTJoeShmo, HSCupycake etc etc. Ahhh but that is only a pipe dream. It would never happen. b:cry

    clearly you are blind. There are at least 3 major guilds holding land on the map with 3+ territories.

    If this would be an indication of a dead server then lost city server was never alive.
    TW was always way to expensive for the average folk.

    We never had a big community. We never had a hard core of more than about thousand people. We had more casuals and smaller factions once, that's it (most of them had just 3-6ppl online at same time...).

    And we had never more than about 200-300 ppl which were/are interested in competitive pvp, that's why it was always so ridiculous easy for the major CSers to rule in TW (almost all the time just a single faction, sometimes 2-3).

    For the huge majority which is and was online in this game (and did never care about the forum) there are just two reasons to stay in game: for most ppl this game is like sim city - they like to see a progress on their toons, they like to work on it. 2nd reason is, they can chat in a nice 3D environment while they can do something together (that's why the concept of e.g. second life never really worked, most ppl didn't know what to do with each other).

    For challenging PVP you don't play MMOs, you're going to lan parties instead. Only if ping, weapon, gear and skills are same for everyone it's a fair and interesting fight.


    So many of the forum folk expect that a single game is responsible for keeping their life interersting. But this won't happen.

    IMO they shouldn't listen to PVPers. This game is old and I'm sure they got many times the amount of money back which they have invested. The owners don't really want to let developers work alot on this game anymore, that's why they should risk something new. They should release the map, monster and fashion editors for free to the community and let them do the job. They should give us a P2P option, this would give them the money for more server capacity to give us the housing system (it should only work with gold which you charged by your own). But ofc, this won't happen too.

    All games die slowly because the companies want to release new ones. But they get only new customers if those stop playing the old games.

    would make sense.. you'll have to waste at least 3 more chars when forming squads (DW FC LF cleric) and more players casually engaging in wc conversations = more teles spent

    Pwi doesn't care about you and your enjoyment of the game. Therefore, I doubt they will do anything of the sort.

    Bringing new people is a waste? Are you honestly saying that everyone who there now is who PWE should pander to, and count only on that money which the existing user base spends? I know they are making bad business decisions but that's one sure fire way to kill off this game faster than anything else.

    They need to get better at customer service and at some better content regularly.. they don't necessarily need huge content updates spaced 12-18 months a part to keep the game alive.

    Sadly, with their track record, we'll continue on as we have.. and we'll continue to just shake our heads.

    School just started, of course all servers get less people online.

    Hun, did you know that PK harassment is allowed on PVE servers? You can PK the same person 485 times without get ban (a mod said it was allowed on PVE servers), I say let's bring PVE and let's PK harass everyone we want!!! =D

    Nothing has really changed last few months. NW population is constant (about 190-230 characters per nation), gold is constant (about 2m and there are always sellers), token price is constant (less than 14k atm).

    Forming a squad for any BH100 is fast as always (20 sec - 5mins).
    Forming a squad for weekly Aba/SoT, AEU, full WS/CV takes some time (normally not more than 20mins).

    Raptures are at ~105k each.

    Green HH mats barely sell (some mats still sell, like e.g. Astral Stones) and gold mats are way cheaper than normal, EoD is at 1.3-1.5m (we had way too much 2x drop this year).

    Perfect Stone price is back to normal (1200-1400, it was at 3500 a few months ago).

    Some high end stuff is very expensive and price does constantly rise (DoT, DoD, Vit stones are at 65-70m). Some other stuff is constant, like SoF (~105m) or LUAD at 600m.

    COGs are at 2m each (were at 2.5m each a few months ago), Chrono Pages are at ~1.8m, PoF/OBPs at 500k.

    If you have some farmer toons and a PVP main ready you can still see a proper progress on you toons. If not, you will have a hard time if you want to play for free and compete...

    i do agree indeed, we need a merge very quickly, although Harshland is populated, we do need get more ppl involved, call it a motivation for the ppl still playing.

    Some servers SHARE name databases, i tried to use my Harshlands characters name when Raging Tide came out and I could not.

    Make 1 pvp server 1 PvE server for east coast and west coast, merge everyone into those.

    eod ~ 2.5mil <- buy prices in shops (selling 2.75-2.9)
