I believe we are all adult enough to realize rrr9+12 [vit/josd] is pretty much the ultimate game changer....for pvp however this has created a bit of an issue clearly seen how two classes in particular have replaced the fishes as leaders of pvp.
considering 60k hp panzer tanks in OP gear is now possible...should damage be scaled differently for each class to account for this? what are your thoughts? PvP has been shoot in the foot by the Super Barb gear/build archetype...will this help? idk...but it sure would make things a bit more interesting. when a Super Barb walks onto the pk field [on this server at least] everyone leaves or no one wants to duel them because the outcome is pretty much already determined [assuming the players involved are skilled evenly or close to it, if the barb player is more skilled it is definite]. in essence you haven't fixed the problem..you just swapped the toons that were unbalanced and now people are like wahtever nothing's gonna change. that will keep the core players i guess but what about the new ones?
sidenote to the marketing team at pwi: when there are zero comments to your sales or events on the site.....that's not a good sign.

I would not be in support where damage scales differently per class, because sure, there is that one single 50k+ hp tank out there, but what about all the other barbs that are around 25-40k? If damage scales per class where someone like a Psychic can hit something like 30k on a barb for a single crit hit or something, then yeah, that'd be alright on the 50k+ hp person, but what about the others that would get 1 shot from it?
Gear imbalance is already there, and has been for so long already. There's no point in trying to change it. PWI is a pay-to-win, no matter how you see it, and while it isn't fair that those who don't dish out loads of money to be on the short end of the stick in terms of gear in PvP, it also isn't fair to those that do dish out loads of money to be nerfed, such that those who don't dish out money get closer in PvP. PWE's done compensation to both sides before as well, so we never know.
I would like to see that balance, but I don't think it will happen due to PWE's past with dealing with players' requests, such as these. While I don't particularly like that, it's true.

The OP is an obvious troll and mod does even not recognize it lmao.
A R9 3rd cast 60k HP barb has about 50 defence levels. That's still a 2-3 shot for any skilled R9 3rd cast caster (if they know what they are doing, this does not include the op of course). And a 1-shot if barb get's debuffed with e.g. dragon.
When anti-death + turtle are available/activated, freeze or stun the barb till its over. Easy going, a barb would have to go to humaoid form for anti-stun skill. When he's doing that he's dead meat.
The only big damge a pure vit-barb might deal is armageddon. Just move abit (you can just walk, no need to run lolz) and a barb won't be able to cast it. It also can happen that a barb wastes the two sparks for armageddon and hp gets reduced by half but the skill doesn't proc on target because the target moved. Even if you get silenced, fozen or stunned by a barb, just use AD. The barb has only one, very low, chance. Next second he will be dead. Solid shield, high defence and so on won't help. Barbarians miss killer combos which other classes have. The only thing they can do: run!!0 -

I think it was mentioned in another thread that they turned off being able to comment on the announcements, though the box is still there.

Any class can be op at end game, and it's not like every single barb that ever exists is an indestructible tank mowing everything and everyone down, there are some yes, but even they can get killed. He even complains that pure vit barbs are able to kill everything. He didn't recognize yet, after 4 years of playing this game, that vit-barbs are a 1-trick-pony pvp-wise. And when they go to normal form + use armageddon they lose most of their HP (+ 2 sparks). One attack of an end-game mage would be enough to kill the barb at this point.
A vit-barb is reduced to one pvp skill, all other skills would require strength to deal serious damage (have fun trying to get full max. HP and sparks back for turtle and armageddon). And without full JoSD shards they are also very squishy because there is a big gap between attack and defence level bonus on all set of gears.0 -

people post stuff on this forum to express views and that is what i am asking for..not a rebuttal or auto troll. and let's say the barb loses 3k hp so he can use claws? certain friends of mine have very broken builds for barbs the allow them to own...period. going forward, assume the barb player is competent and just think about it. in this example you totally left out invoke and cornered beast as part of after arma equation...assuming the person survives it.0 -
