Tutorial: Method to play GWI in 1440x900

Got annoyed at how my shinny MPB can't play PWI in full screen >: So here is the method

1. Goto the folder where PWI is installed
2. Goto Config\patcher
3. Open resolutions.txt
4. Add the line "1440x900"
5. !!IMPORTANT!!, right click the resolutions.txt file, tick Read-only
6. Apply, then start the patcher, and you should get 1440x900 in the resolutions box in settings

    Man was totally thinking Guild Wars when I wrote the title for this topic >.<'' how do I change it? the "Advanced" mode under edit take me to the forum index page...

    The Advanced is broken. I made a suggestion about forum bugs already, go post you support it. :D

    To edit, you need to click the Edit button a second time (It's below the white edit window) and use the full edit mode.

    What I did was start the game in the max the launcher would allow and then once ingame changed it to the correct resolution. It didn't show up till I was ingame hope this helps!

    i was do this think bu still not change to 1440x900 resolution in full screen
    when i start resolution was 1600x900
    can you tell me other metod to add resolution in full screen 1440x900

    if you want custom resolution:
    go to your pwi folder, element/userdata
    find systemsettings.ini
    open with notepad
    change RenderWid = 1280 (or whatever number is there) to 1440
    RenderHei = 768 to RenderHei = 900
    save
    restart client

    1. Necro.

    2. Last I looked it was in there already. If not, you can follow this method to add it, but this only adds it to the Patcher options. It does not add it to the in-game options.

    You can add it to the in-game options by modifying another file that's in the element directory, but I am at work and can't look it up right now.
