My email got deleted

Hi...

So I was reading the post about the 5 year anniversary and checked the email on this account to make sure it still worked. But it doesn't. So I headed over to the "change email" page. When I submitted the new one, it said this:

Unfortunately, we were unable to complete your request. In order to perform an email change, you will need to submit a ticket to our Customer Support department:

But the link is broken.

What do I do? I would really like the anni gifts.

New problem:

It now says that the email I'm trying to submit has already been used.

I created that email specifically for that account. The email page states that it's still using the old one. I check my 2 other accounts and they still used their original emails, so I didn't accidently switch them. So what the hell is going on now?

    The link isn't broken, try a different browser. It worked fine with Firefox.

    I am in the same boat with you, i made the email just for pwi and it was disabled by yahoo for not using it long time.
    I sent a ticket and i'm waiting to see what can be done.

    I think you can use a new email adress if you forgot your old 1, go to your account then click email it will ask if u want to change it. My husband did yesterday I believe.

    Oh btw you can't copy n paste on the fourm's what gm's send you in private message's.

    When you want to change email adress, the site will show you the current email address registered. When i did this account in 2011 i didn't think i would need it for anything.

    If you want to change address and you don't have access to old e-mail ( like me) because it was disabled for being inactive, it redirects you to submit a ticket about it.

    write down the email(s) and log in once a month just to keep it open, if your too lazy to do that then sucks to be you

    Yeah that's what I've been trying to do, but because I don't have access to my old email address, it says I need to submit a ticket. When I click the link it doesn't work.

    I have everything written down. I was logging in to keep them active but I forgot about this one. >.< I took a 1 year break and I guess I missed it.

    Would be nice if a t least a support ticket would help, but to be honest PWI's Support sucks bad *** :/
    Such a "Service" has to work within a few days (a good one manages this within Hours) and not within months!

    During my membership I sent some support tickets with the results of having to wait a real long time until response (longest has been 3 months with stupid text) or getting ignored and I am writing really nice and friendly texts. :(

    This is a part PWI has really to work on.

    _Kiya_, the only browser you haven't listed trying, (which happens to be considered the best), is Chrome.

    You should also try clearing your cache.

    Alternatively, (and I'm surprised Venus didn't mention this), you can send an e-mail to customerservice@perfectworld.com with a fully detailed explanation of your issue.


    I also tend to agree a bit with blackstarlight. PWE's support structure is extremely lacking. To expect a small handful of college interns to support 15 different game titles is pretty stupid.

    Ticket about e-mail change submitted 4 days ago. Guess what? The GMs dont read tickets and I doubt they will change my email before they send out anni gifts. Hurray for lost 5th year gifts!!!

    Sorry to hear that, it's definitely unusual. I would still suggest submitting a ticket if doesn't get responded to soon, you could pm Synchroze or one of the other GMs.

    IT takes 3-5 business days when they aren't flooded, just give it sometime and don't submit more tickets on the issue.

    Thanks Venus for the link! That one works. I'll try that since clearing my cash didn't solve the link problem.

    EDIT: Heh. That link worked when I clicked it this morning just to test. Now that I have the time to submit the ticket, it doesn't anymore. X.X Guess I'll cross my fingers with the email.

    Found out something new...

    I tried accessing the ticket page with 3 different computers and 3 different browsers.

    Account 1: works fine.
    Account 2: works fine.
    Account 3: doesn't work.

    And of course Account 3 is the one where I need the email change... -_-

    Could there be something wrong with that specific account?

    EDIT:

    Woha. Now it's doing something even weirder. I was logged in with Account 1, tried the link, it worked, logged out, logged in with Account 3, clicked the link, and it worked... but the info was from Account 1. What's going on? f:stare

    I did same thing changed to a new Email the ticket disappeared last night now I can not access my main account so I put a ticket in to be told that I had a ticket in about it already and don't clutter up there system. well guess what until I get access to my main account there going to get a ticket every time I try to log in and fail if I clog it up maybe they will READ the dam ticket b:angryb:angry

    Try contacting the email support, they will help recover you're email. I had the same issue with yahoo. My main accounts email was just for PWI and I never logged it for ages and got deactivated but all I had to do was contact yahoo and answer some questions and they reactivated it, was simple.

    I was able to send in a ticket from another account and they changed my email. I got their first answer about 3 hours after I sent in the ticket yesterday and the whole thing was solved by the time I got home today! f:cute

    I never thought I'd say this but... I (temporairly...f:hehe) LOVE YOU PWE!f:grin
