Cash Shoppers Beware

Anyone using Ultimate Pay Cards to inject cash into the game should be sure to use the card as soon after activation as possible.

I have two friends (two separate occasions) who waited a while (somewhere between one and three weeks) before using their cards, only to find that they had already been redeemed by someone. Ultimate apparently has two different PIN schemes. In trying to help my friends, I noticed that one type seems to be almost sequential. I suspect that some unscrupulous character(s) also noticed that.

So if you cash shop using that brand of cards, either regularly or occasionally, be sure to get them into the system quickly.

So do you think that someone is sitting there continuously trying sequential numbers to put money on PWI. The person would first have to know that the cards are activated by the store. You can't use a card if it hasn't been activated when it's purchased in the store. I would suspect the store cashier. The card# pops up on the receipt. If you print a duplicate receipt, you will see the card # and code on the receipt. The store cashier would then of course, use that, knowing the card is activated. ijs

    I agree with this.
Sometimes I have only been able to get $100 dollars as 5X $20 cards, at times from 1 of the 2 stores that sell them in my town, and have noticed that the last 6 digits have been in sequence.
It would have been easy to try a few numbers below the ones I just purchased.
Lucky I am not that dishonest.

The numbers which were nearly sequential were identical in all but the last few digits. It would be child's play to "bot" that sequence, letting a computer run over and over those numbers until it gets a hit on an activated card.

Two different purchases at two different stores at two different times. Getting the same cashier would be an astronomical coincidence.

Why use something that is broken? I mean people should think twice whether to use this service at all, after reading this statement. Stealing is a criminal offense. Did any of your friends try getting there money back?

No. Ultimate Pay would not act unless my friends sent them scanned images of the front and back of the cards original receipts. One of them didn't keep the receipt. The other didn't have access to a scanner and the deadline for responding passed.

Just purchase another card and notify Internet fraud and scams department, which you should be able to locate at FP website in your country. Give them card number and don't cash it in. They will track it, when goes through and jobs done.
