Why does PWi allow abuseive behavior

on the dreamweaver server we have an individual in constant verbal abuse to anyone and everyone. they cross the line on many things to try and insult belittle dehumanize degrade in any way shape or formanyone or anybody. i would like to know why this is allowed a person by the name of -removed- ironically enough does just that. in other games i played this behavior would have meant instant ban with in minutes of it being abusive or degrading others but, here it continues for hours days week months till idk when they decide enough is enough. this person has had 2 other accounts ban i believe perma ban so why not ban it so he can never log in again. allowing this is making me think twice about even being near these kinds of people yet pwi never does anything about them b:angry all we can do is bl until the next toon they make i don't have enough room to ban every single disgusting human that is degrading others.

We have plenty of this in HT especially when it comes to PK folks. Normally blacklisting is the way to go and it makes it much more pleasant without their nonsense. If anything you can either report them then blacklist. If they come back from the ban, do it again. Eventually they should get the hint.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I have personally submitted tickets and then not seen the person around for a few days, and I've seen people talk about how they got banned before. I'd assume it would take more than a couple of bans to get permanently muted but I do know for a fact that they do. Almost nobody knows how to report it, and I can't the times I've seen someone screeching about a scam in world chat and had to teach them how to submit a ticket. I mean, there are many players that don't even know how their basic skills work let alone how to do stuff on the website.0 -
basicly, if a person spends real life money they won't get banned i have seen people shout the racail slur (the "N" word) in world chat and I submit tickets with screen shot as did 15 people in the faction i was in, yet 4 hours later they are back playing as normal, now I am free to play strictly, I made a comment in world chat " Hey lets have a dirty joke hour lol j/k" and I got perma banned....reason why, I am a free to play player, so submit tickets all you want but if the person spends real life money, so long as they aren't hacking the game gms, admins, mods won't do anything cause all they care about is you real life money!b:angry0

I am a player just as yourself, not a GM. Mods are not GMs. And tickets typically take 3-5 days to be responded to, although it's true that it seems they have been pretty inconsistent about ban enforcement it is at least worth a try. It is literally two minutes of your time only. Or you could just blacklist them. *shrug*0 -

Not even true, they probobly havent gotten around to it, or you send tickets on the weekend, where it won't get done until the weekday anyway.

So, you want PtP players to get banned for defying the TOS, but complain when you break it as well? You can't have your cake and eat it.

What's the perfect world coming to when even mods can't quote properly, and punishments are inconsistent? It's a waste of time to submit a ticket for stuff like this. IMO there is much bigger fish to fry.Be kind: Help the GMs to depopulate the servers.0

Easy solution:
Blacklist
You wont listen them again anymore and your game experience wont be affected. just take 2 clicks to do it and dont even need to report it. b:chuckle0 -
In words people need to get over them selfs I sorry but GROW UP people. yes some people say things that is not cool. people do things that is not cool. its is a game that realy should be for age 18 and over people. theres hafe naked people running around some showing more then should that's aTOS if any thing . but yay I not mind itnot one bit lol. I not mind the bad talk to I am a grown man. if any thing you all need to know is there is a blacklist I fill mine nonstop lol. each 30 days I del it. thay need to make it biger lol . I know theres lots of people that don't care for me ad I don't care for them people have ther own way of playing the game (THE GAME) IT IS THAT. IF YOU REALY DONT LIKE WHAT GOING ON LOG OFF. hate to put that in a mean way but black list them or log off if your a kid that can not handle it. most of us know whats right and whats worng in life but some people when thay log on a game think a bit diffent that's cool and all this why we play games and to top it off its a role playing game. so plz when you go to send in a tickit think befor you do think have you ever did any thing bad in the game. WE ALL HAVE weather knowing or not. most of us off game are the nicest people you'll ever meet. Yes Most of us are adults and as Adults we all agreed to the same TOS. We all agreed not to behave soo poorly in game and if we did we agreed to be punished. Bottom line is the TOS needs enforced for everyone. Fact is this isn't an 18+ game. it's a 13+ game and in being so people are expected to keep things kid friendly. Until they make it 18+ you can't expect everyone to act like adults. BTW not always easier to type your thoughts then to say them face to face. Any of my RL friends that play PW games can tell you I speak my mind no matter how big or mean you are.
I know we aren't supposed to talk about bans on the forums but I gotta say this. And to people saying you won't get banned if your P2P I can tell you that is utter BS. I used to buy Zen all the time and during a month that I spent $130 on the game I got punished for a few days for saying what I thought of Obama. I've met a fair share of rude and obnoxious people in game, but I've never sent a ticket. Reason: I'm not sure what can be considered bad enough to report it. People that disturb me are mostly those who swear a lot and intentionally bring their drama on WC instead of pming the person, which would be cheaper and the sensible thing to do. Can this be considered worth sending a ticket? Sometimes it gets a lot worse tho, I'm sure everyone who plays on HT has noticed, and the people chatting probably think they're joking, but it doesn't seem the least bit funny to me. I'm not going to bring an example since they really say things that are disturbing. Next time I see something like it I'm going to report it and hopefully something is done about it.
PS: An idea crossed my mind: don't we have some people in game who control what's going on on WC and warn the chatters when they're about to cross the line? We definitely need someone like that.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Regular players can help control what is said in WC, not by going off on the person being abusive, but just by taking the convo somewhere else or even making a joke out of it.

Ive actually gotten bids to over a million for mine, and it calms down the smexy, negative or whatever totally annoying convo is going on.
That's an example, but you can really take their negative chatter and switch it up.

After several PMs with suggestions, including the ever famous "uninstall", the smex trolls started talking about not caring if someone BLs them, and getting rather nasty in another way.
So, I said, "Well, Im told all one has to do is simply use another Chat"
"see? xD" in Trade Chat. For whatever reason after that they stopped.
Someone gives you lemons you can always try to make lemonade, or lemon creme cookies, or whatever, lol.
Setting an underage limit for the game is really not doable, most kids know how to lie on a game app. Parents can stop their children from accessing the game with Parental Controls - but I dont really think a lot of parents bother with that.
Some parents might play PWI and want their children to play with them - sort of like the way they used to play card games or Monopoly with their own parents/grandparents around the kitchen table years ago. They should be able to reasonably do that in PWI.
Teles cost a lot now on my server - almost 20K each, but if thats not a problem, people can say stuff themsevles in the middle of whatever it is thats annoying them that wont flame it, but will help end it by simply drowning it out - or being something more interesting.0 -

@Fiery_Demon - GMs on Malay version of PW way back when used to patrol WC and mute people for X amount of time (until they finally stopped caring about that version entirely). Sometimes it was justified and sometimes not so much...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I would suggest you watch whatcha say kiddies you never know whose watch for you to slip up in world chat or common chat and private chat! GM might not get to you right away but if more than 1 person spams a ticket about you instant vaction.

I thought perfect world had rules and a code towards these kinds of things... and PWE is very wealthy kind of game publisher. they have the money to hire people to take care of these kinds of problems. but to protest against them you need solid proof if they have mistreated you or any one else for that matter..
you are basicly saying that PWE's justice is flawed and/or corrupted. well with out proof your objections are meaningless to them.
now I'm not taking any sides here and I have been here for nearly 6 years. I know the game needs GM's and I know the idea of taken care of issue at hand is rather sloppy but I have complain so much to a point where its pointless to complain any more...
so the best thing to do is learn to accept the issue at hand and move on. I'm sorry if what I say is consider annoying or pointless. but I been at this game longer than most and I know for a fact what PWE really is...
I may be banned for saying all of that but I believe I have a right to speak my opinion in this matter and should I be banned just for that then every thing I said would be considerd true...what matters in ones life is the strength that's within your heart and mind. for it is these two things that makes one feel human.0 -
you guys need to buy a super blacklist stone, they cost about 5mil and you can blacklist up to 100 different people.
Yes ive seen mean/unkind/rude people and behavior before and still do, but the thing is, pwe doesnt do anything about it, most players don't do anything about it, nothing is ever done in a timley manner so why try? ive learned to just ignore them.0 -
I don't know, I think some forms of "abusive speech"(mostly relating to pk/pvp situations) is a sign that a server is active and alive in a healthy way. When everyone is holding hands and singing kumbaya is when I'll be worried because it probably means my server is dead.0

XD I was thinking the same thing.
While there's a point where it's taken too far (for example the racist comments, that's not cool, along with other things) some trash-talk is always typical of people who are pvp-ing and whatnot. If it gets to be too much, I just switch over to my faction chat tab (where I have wc disabled) and chill there for awhile.
However I find it funny to watch those people have ego wars. b:chuckle So usually I just leave it on.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
