I heard a rumor that you get some massive attack bonus for 650 dex when you're a sin, any truth to this rumor?

    That's not the case.
The damage comes from the dex which is high anyway and crit from the dex. There's no hidden bonus that exists. Not to my knowledge at least

I think you got it backwards. You get 650 dex when you have the massive attack bonus.

The real massive attack bonus arrives at 1400 dexterity.
Combined with a 25% crit bonus from equipment, weapon, and ornaments, a sin will have 95% crit, which is the maximum crit allowed for in this game.

This is obviously desirable for many reasons, such as letting the sin leaving Powerdash at level 1 (as it would make no difference to increase crit when you have the maximum).

Figured as much, meh. I figured gaining 9 more dex and getting a massive DPH boost was too good to be true when my DPH is already pretty massive x.x

650 dex gets a 6.5 attack multiplier, but it isn't some massive increase when you get to that stat level; 640 gets a 6.4 attack multiplier.

The multiplier for dex (and str) is 150 stat points as opposed to magic which is 100. This multiplier is also rounded to two decimal places.

So in the case of the OP being at 641 dex gives them a multiplier of 4.27 as opposed to at 650 dex a multiplier of 4.33.

Common myth being at each of the multipliers 600 dex 750 dex etc you get some massive boost (going from 4 to 5) which isnt the case due to the mutliplier being rounded to two decimal places. (I.e. going from 4.99 to 5)

Lol doesn't even answer the question

"Inability to Detect Sarcasm May Be Early Sign of Dementia"

I thought it was made quite clear what the answer to this question was, and I was merely exploring a theoretical possibility (which we may see, if this game continues to follow its current exponential power creep).
In the mean time, go see a psychologist.

I'm British, we invented sarcasm. What you did was just a poor joke no one understood cause mostly what you say is tosh based on your amazing pk experience on a private server that no one cares about anyway.
But sure that must mean I'm a bit mental.

Why was this even brought up to begin with?

I thought it was a pretty funny joke since you can't get 1400 dexterity in PWI.

Regardless. OP has his question answered. No reason to continue.
