Really need some help!

I played PWI a long time ago, but never got past lvl 70 lol.

My question is, which class is able to solo pve? I was considering veno, but cannot afford legendary pets so I'm not sure if that makes veno a bad choice. What is the general opinion on mystics and clerics being able to solo?

    You don't specifically need a Legendary pet on a veno if you're looking to solo. There are several "tanky" pets such as a Glacial Walker for example that will do the job just fine.

    Firstly the wrong move is saying you cant afford stuff because here in PW land you will have to learn to afford stuff or you will quit again.You have to upgrade skills,weapons,armors,ornaments,refines,shards,FASHION if your going to be a sexy veno,teleports,world chats,maybe buying material from time to time,pstones etc,mana pots,hp pots,maybe hp/mp charms,apoths if your not going to make any,pets,sage or demon skills..alot more,just giving you a heads up,but if your going to be a map grinder for your duration of the game...glb:bye

    Any class can solo PvE, just that not all of them can do it with style b:victory

    It's just 80mil (or $40, depends on server though), if you can't afford this you won't be able to solo pve with any char. And i don't see any problems getting this sum, you can save up money from 100+ BHs and reach it pretty fast. It's not a huge money at all, even nirvana gear will cost you much more.

    You able collect coins for Legendary pets realy quick. I spent 2-2,5hours per day to collect mats and selin them, so on my lvl i have 40mil (legendary pets ticket cost 65~80mil). And Jolly Old Jones quests helps it much too :)

    Eh, I think the appropriate question is, which character do you like. All toons are good in PVE, in their own ways.

    Would you like to AOE grind? Then BM comes to mind. Or mystic and veno, if you're intending to not waste a lot of pots and stuff, unless you can gear your BM well. My veno/mystic nukes VoS easily. Now with the harpy, I can just make the harpy kill while I just run around collecting and dropping a heal every now and then.

    Would you like fast APS on single target? Then probably sin.

    Would you like to be a meat shield? Take the hits and let others kill for you? Barb. I hate this, so I stopped my barb, but unless you've really good gear and refines, barbs take a while to kill.

    Do you like magic or physical?

    There's a lot of questions. Even the term PVE is kinda hard. Do you wanna PVE in terms of farming, or running BHs and instances or...?

    All in all, I think all classes are important and have their place in PWI gamestyle.

    I hate to say it cause there's so many, but I'd have to say sin.

    Mine soloed FC at 92. At 95 he soloed Morai. BP + Demon spark, FTW!

    If you can stand people always wanting you to heal them, play a cleric. They can heal themselves, buff themselves and, my fave, purify themselves.

    Built right, that's one hell of a battlemage.

    Unfortunately it is MMORPG, so you can't even enter in most instances solo.

    Those, who say, that everything in this game is easy to obtain are wrong.

    I play Wizard and it is my main character.

    To buy Magical Wand (level 85) without refines and Arcane Headgear (level 70) I spent 17 millions coins total.

    solo what?
    quests and mobs -> anything will do
    low tier caves -> might be able to do it with a non-legendary veno but it would be painfully slow
    high tier caves -> lol forget it if getting a legendary pet seems a huge cost for you
    caves specifically designed to make soloing impossible or really hard -> forget it


    as others have said, it's a multiplayer game and (gladly) with each update we get more and more content intended to encourage playing with others.

    well, you can still "solo" with multiclienting but even with 2 toons which is the legal allowed limit some instances may be impossible.

    As for PvE/questing I would say it doesn't matter which class you play. All do quite good.

    For later content or some instances soloing is not intended and therefor hard. So either you play together with others, than it doesn't matter which class as long as you have friends or you get OP gear, than you can solo almost everything.

    So first you should decide what you like:

    magic <---> physical class
    melee <---> ranged
    healer <---> DD <--> Tank

    When it comes to endgame content (lvl100+) on my server clerics(healer) and barbs(tank) are searched quite often.
    If you play sin you can do a lot solo, BUT you need really good gear for that and unless you don't have that you have too many sins in PWI, so you have a lot of sins to compete with.

    A word for mystic: Mysts are really a class to play if you know what you do. It needs a lot of MP pots and heals fast, but finding squats might be difficult, because there are to few really good mystics on my server and most mysts simply play bad so mysts aren't wanted even for things they are good at.

    Veno: Yes a veno can solo TT, but much slower than a Sin and to be honest don't build a char for that purpose only if it is supposed to be your main.

    Hello, I have a little problem, letters were sent to the other characters, my hair is a fashion, but it did not get sent off too ... 2 hours ago :( But not yet received it. :( What should I do? :(

    Submit a ticket. It's always possible that you typo'ed the name and sent it to someone else too. (Been there, done that.)
