ive used .boku before ,but when i go to the phone payment options its says not available in the US b:embarrass

funny thing is when u go here : http://www.boku.com/publishers/carriers/

you'll find that it IS available in the US ....and it has 255 million subscribers >_> .


is it just not working for PWI or something o_O?

    I'm not from US and it's not working :/ I have sms but when i answer nothing happen.... b:sad After two days i had an information on my phone that sms can't be delivered. So....i think all have a problem with this....

    This is due to contractual obligations. Even though Boku supports the United States, we do not have a deal for support in that region at this time. Payment by SMS for our US users is coming very soon. I do not have an ETA just yet but we are getting very close to the horizon.........

    You should understand that paying with boku will cost you more generally. Each mobile carrier has a fee that they charge boku, who in turn charges you more. (At least that is how it is on other mmos). So (I am verizon) it costs me $10 for a 5 dollar item. Also, some carriers do not let you go over a limit (10 dollar spending limit per item for me). PWI currently sells for 10 minimum, meaning, after the surcharge, some carriers will not allow you to purchase. So don't get too hyped up about mobile purchasing... and always ask your parents first... I really do not see the hype about mobile purchasing... it is expensive... Go out and buy a visa gift card and use google checkout.. that works quite well ^^

    LOL I do agree though, that mobile billing is a waste of money. Get a debit card through your bank. Again, use Google Checkout. b:chuckle
