I have a few questions..
Which involve things from a BM to Farming.

1. I would like to know (as im not a CSer for R9) is the G16 axes better than the R8 recasted poleaxe? I just seem to notice alot more people (BM) running around with the R8 recast wep.

Is it just because its Cheap? or is there another reason.

2. I wish to mainly farm for R9 in the future, I'm wondering what is the best way to farm for money in big quantities on a day to day basis? If somebody could let me know would be amazing. (Using my BM which is also my Warsong farmer for My veno's HA gear, Account Stash FTW!)

    The G16 (t3 nirvy gears, and weapon specifically) is good for damage output as it has +40 Atk levels base... and then gets 3 other stats attached to it.

    The r8 recasted weapon is good for +15 (i think) to +25 Def levels (which i am pretty sure why they would be taking r8 recasted)... unless bm's get some other worth-wild add to it's "unique" add? But i am betting on defense levels.

    No idea how to farm squat... that's someone else's department b:surrender

    G16 will out DD r8r, especially since with G16 you get to pick your axe class weapon and can chose dual axes/hammers. Poles, because of their faster attack rate, have a lower base damage. You also wont get +40 attack levels on r8r, and G16 refines better (rank gear almost always has a higher base than normal but a poorer refine rate.)

    The Apostasy is right that the reason some BMs chose r8r is for def levels (can get 15-25 as unique and, and theoretically 1-5 def levels three times as your adds.) In group Pvp we're more crowd control than DDs so it helps to have a more defensive weapon.

    The best way to make money, as its been for years, is merchanting. The best place to farm on a daily basis, as its been for years, is TT or NW if you can make them.

    And r9 stopped being a cash shopper only thing years ago. Not too hard to farm r9t3 if you're smart about it.

    Someone asked me once how much EXACTLY it would cost them to make the r8r weapon. Not including Rep, or buying the regular weapon. I still have the note pad I used to keep track of the numbers.

    150 tokens = 300 Adamantine
    150 * 85,000 = 12,750,000 + 10,500,000

    Total Adamantine cost = 23,250,000

    40 tokens = 1,000 Memorial Coins
    40 * 85,000 = 3,400,000 + 1,400,000

    Total Memorial Coin cost = 4,800,000

    210 tokens = 15 Oricalcum Ore
    210 * 85,000 = 17,850,000 + 2,625,000

    Total Oricalcum Ore cost = 20,475,000

    Rank 8 Weapon Recast Fee = 20,000,000 The fee for using the Forge to literally recast the weapon.

    Total Recast Cost = 68,525,000


    The 85,000 was the cost of 1 Rapture crystal at the time I was doing the math. Also the second set of numbers, right after the + sign, is the total money spent on the forge fees.
