getting g16 spear is it worth it?

As a pole BM with G16 pole

you lose the damage spike of axes

you lose the dps and chi of claws

you have to swap to axes for one of your most important stuns--but gain a 33% possible stun if demon

you gain some range

you lose the ability to purge because you aren't using a R8r/TT99 purge pole

you lose def levels of R8r def pole

you gain swag for being a hipster

Instead, do some more warsong, get a claw mold or something, sell the badges and work on getting a cube neck and a second LG ring, and finish refining your hammers + armor, and get yourself a pan gu.

I'd think all of those are bigger priorities than a fanciful third G16 weapon, but go ahead; use resources on what you like

go for it a decent range weapon is use full for those annoying sin's that like to use tackling slash then move out of ur axe range and DD u with +2m range dags plus more damage wen ur switching through weapons for range combo eg drakes ray-smak-farstrike-spirit chaser-drakes ray-far strike etc etc if u can afford and already have decent aps farming gears its a plus to add

Why go through the effort? mage bane+triple spark+hf+aoe = dead people if they are not willing to move away from you. Stun locking r9 3rd cast casters is pointless, so i don't even try, i save my chi. If they are not r9 3rd casters, they die easy enough from gof on the axes.

Didju seriously just recommend using a sword to triple sparking->aoe for kiting casters, added in HF, then followed it with "i save my chi"?

Btw... HF can easily proc purify and give them holy path =o
