Do you think PWI company doing any good?

The company is doing fine they made over 500 million dollars last year that information was released to their stock holders and can be looked up on the internet. PerfectWorld is their flagship game its not going away. I hear many people complaining saying the games declining etc... It has a large group of core players more than most other games of the same type except for the really popular games like WoW, minecraft, and RS, roblocks, etc....

As far as your article everyone complains about their job and no one should be surprized by the article. Could things be run better? sure. But the game is doing fine when you got core players spending cash and your company is making 500 million$ a year, the answer to your question is yes the company is doing good and PWI is doing fine.

I think most would say Perfectworld is much better game than RS, I compare the 2 because RS been around longer than PWI and has had a lot of the same problems people complain that pwi has over the years. However RS is stlll going strong after 10 years and their company isnt bringing in 500 mil a year. So I think people are way to eager to say this game is doing poorly and throwing it under the bus. Most games would dream of having the core players PWI has and this game isnt going anywhere for the next decade.

Sure theres improvements that could be made but that could be said about all games and the fact that people are still spending boat loads of cash on PWI shows all the things Perfectworld has done right. And as far as some worker complainimg about their hours or how their treated or how they feel about the company is completely irrelevant. If they dont like their job they can quit instead of complaining and complaining about their conscience while their still taking checks from the company makes everything they say seem like they have an ax to grind, upset that they actually have to work for the money that PWI just isnt handing them free money for showing up to work. so its all irrelevant to how PWI is doing.

but yeah 2 with the same story is far better than 1000 with 1000 different stories.

Do I think PWE as a company is doing fine? No. I personally believe they are biting off more than they can chew, and eventually they run the risk of choking. They aren't choking yet, but edging closer to it. For those with open eyes, and years of playing various MMOs not under the same corporate blanket, its easy to see things are amiss. A lot of promises have fallen to the wayside, ingame support is all but a figment of imagination, far too much remains broken, and imbalances remain catastrophic at least in this game. I cant speak for their other games as i personally won't ever play another game by PWE.

Now I will say this regarding a couple of bad reviews by former employees. It mirrors most companies where morale is low and upper management is fed by greed. MMO developers are a small niche in the scope of corporate entities, and its a very competitve market. PWE seems to lack vision in that they cant see two feet in front of themselves. In order to remain competitive, they must make a concerted effort in bringing in new players and not be dependent on new games, or veteran players that are more addicted to spending money like a bad gambling habit. That will not sustain a game title forever. Too many games and they risk spreading themselves too thinly, which is easily apparent by the lack of support, lack of being vigilent with their own TOS, and lack of excitement for us, the players.

I dislike the way PWE staff handles A LOT of things but I can't deny that I really love PWI. Everytime I say I'll quit I find myself back here after getting bored of other games. PWE are not the only gaming company that has bad customer service. There are far worst but that's not a 100% good excuse to not get better. FYI, you should also note that PWI is not PWEs only game. Ijs.

You should look back at mmohut, since you believe it's what is going on in the company, the playerbase is still high. Most be something good going on here. b:chuckleb:bye
