what do you think if PWI makes an update where you can extract shards from gear on the condition that they become un-tradable?

    Extract the citrines

    use them for my G16, which is bound anyways

    Well...that is fine but would putting those particular shards in gear in turn make the gear untrade able? I mean I certainly would not mind that even though I do not have any shards worth doing it with...Still. It might be a fun idea to kick around. Although it might need moved into the suggestion section XD

    Now they've made att lvl +2 and jades have been around for a while I think it's only fair +20 vit shards come out :3

    I think its a terrible idea.

    As it is, they have this system where upgrading sharded and refined equipment costs almost as much as buying new shards and refines. This is needed both to ensure PWI keeps making money and so that the new players have any chance of someday catching up with old players. Otherwise, the old players would only get richer and richer, investments arent lost but stay with them forever. They would stop spending money, the game would go broke and the situation for new players even more hopeless than it already is.
    Everything i write is from PvE perspective unless mentioned otherwise.

    I agree with WBM but on the other hand I die a little bit inside every time I see by icebourn g13 sphere and 4+4x DoTs oht sleeves and boots*.

    * "eh, DoTs are 1m each so it's a nice dmg boost for grinding and tiger event" < past me
