Making millions just like that!

Well, I was in Archosaur, looking around at the many shops, and I found a way to make millions really fast, someone bought dragon orb 1 star for 100 000, and someone else also bought them for 90 000 - 91 500 coins, and so I made million by buying loads, and I mean LOADS of dragon packs ;)

    So what was the point of this thread....
    buy stuff from cash shop and sell to people. <- already known fact.

    Sell things you had in stock for a while that you farmed up, but never used. <- another already known fact.

    that doesn't even make any sense to me >.< i think i have been playing to long... seems there a people of this game are getting dumber....

    Well, are you saying I am dumb because I use this fact to make millions, or the people that buy the orbs for those prices?

    The people buying orbs at those prices are making money reselling them for more, for the most part.

    The people selling the orbs at those prices to the catshops could have made more coin selling the gold used to buy them on the gold market.

    Dragon fire packs cost 3,15 gold for 20.

    @1.3m per gold, that makes 4,1m for 20 = 205k a piece. 210 or so with the gold trading fee.


    The market price is 80k per 1*. If you managaed to sell them for 100k, you have been very lucky, it is an exception.

    Thus if you open packs and get 2 x 1* orb that you sell, you lost 50k.

    However, the packs dont only give 1* orbs. They can give you
    Dragon Orb (1 Star) - 2 (92%)
    Dragon Orb (2 Star) (5.75%)
    Dragon Orb (3 Star) (1.24%)
    Dragon Orb (4 Star) (0.7%)
    Dragon Orb (5 Star) (0.3%)
    Dragon Orb Flame (0.01%)

    So that makes a total Expected Value of:
    0.92 * 160 = 147,2
    0.0575 * 320 = 18,4
    0.0124 * 1600 = 19,8
    0.007 * 4000 = 28
    0.003 * 10000 = 30
    0.0001 * 220000 = 22
    265k

    So yes, it is profitable to buy dragon fire packs and sell the orbs. I think this is the only pack that is profitable to open. You cannot rely on making a profit when openig a small number though because you need the 5* and 12* chances for the profit. If you open several 100 packs, you can at least rely on not losing money. If you open several 1000, you can rely on making a profit. If you open only a few packs (think less than 300 or so) you run a significant risk of losing money. But at least you are gambling cheap.

    Battle Pet Packs also used to be profitable, but everyone wants to buy cheap tickets from perfect chests instead now.
