WTH is up with this?

Does anyone know why? Ever since the update 2-3 weeks ago, I've been d/cing umpteen times more than I used to. Sometimes 30 seconds after I log on, and other times twice in 30 seconds.

    1).Did you exclude your client files from your firewall/anti-virus ?If not do IT.
    2).Run the game with Administrator privilege.
    3).Make sure no other program is conflicting or interrupting with PWI.
    4).Run "Verify" 3 times in a row(it might take sometime depending on your system).
    5).Also check your bandwidth speed @ http://speakeasy.net/speedtest/
    6).Make sure that your router has port 29000 open for PWI and for the PWI patcher. Your router's manufacturer's website should have the instructions on how to do this.

    Run a traceroute to PWI servers :-

    1) In Vista/7, click on the Windows icon/Start > click on Search > type in "cmd"
    2) On this screen type in (exactly as it is typed here): tracert pwieast2.perfectworld.com (You can also use any of the IP addresses to our servers listed below. Try several.)
    Please note there is a space between "tracert" and "pwieast2.perfectworld.com"
    3) Wait for the traceroute to complete.
    4) Right Click on the window
    5) Select the "Select all" option
    6) Hit "Enter"
    7) You will now be able to paste the text into your reply.

    Thanks for the info Desdi i really didn't knew about this all thou i didn't faced any lagg or disconnection from game while playing yesterday. b:thanks

    The issue are on the West servers, Raging Tides is on the East servers. =P

    If it can hit other games like J.D or Rusty Hearts then why it cannot hit East Coast servers u see ?

    Maybe they are on the same ISP than PWI West servers.

    Also beside that person no one else complained about multiple DC on the West servers. (For PWI)

    So yea it could be a issue on the side of that person connection otherwise there would be more threads from the West servers. =)

    I remember having people in my squads who kept DCing several times during run, like cleric and BM in TT. I don't have any issues but... who knows.

    I hope it can be resolved, becuause these DC also cause death which lead to EXP loss or a loss of Gurdian Scrolls (which I think is no fair if you get d/c as you can't help it if you dc).

    Also, the faction leader and I were doing a TT3-3 run with a few others, and the BM who was with us DC like 20+ times in 5 minutes. That run I d/c twice in 30 seconds, but after that I didn't have any issues.

    The D/C problem is really annoying especially when you're grinding, but more so when you're in a squad doing A BH or FB, especially if you're a tank, and you get killed because of the process.

    If anyone else has any information about DC issues on the east servers (Raging Tide and such) I would appreciate it.

    PS. A week or so ago, I died 4 times in 2 days in which I lost 4 guardian scrolls which would have been 16+% total EXP if I haven't had any.
