On database it shows that Ring is part of set bonus:

You are looking at the wrong armor, that's the Chinese version of it.

The reforge r9 rings have all the same stats for every char, not sure which it is in the db, but you can check it out at the forges. The refining stats are both m/p def's, upto 1575 @ +12(i think)
