Is Lost City fun again? First cast NV daggers +10 still considered okay for pvp?

    Lamo ikr, if you ever want to play again then just stay away from PVP. R9RR is ridiculously OP now against other gear.
    Bigger gear gap now than when we only had normal R9.

    My opinion, if you have a credit card that have a mighty limit for it, then it will be a good comeback, but you are in debt, it will not be worth to comeback.

    It's weird to see alot of the old time core players coming back or talking about it.

    Unless you plan on spending some serious time farming, or serious swipes of your credit card even the noobiest nubs with decent gear will be able to kill you easily now.

    This game had it right in so many ways. PvP was so simple yet addictive, and you could be basically anybody you wanted to be. Plus everyone knew everyone, even if you loved or hated them. Now MMos like most of the new ones. You just zerg people and capture stupid camps mand towers. Whats so fun about a damn zerg, plus you dont know anyone so there was no emotional attachment to it. I wish pwi would make a new game like this but without having to spend so much damn money to stay into it.

    As i said on one of these posts before, its all personal opinion. If your a nub and just want a game that you stand round and do shet all day then pwi aint the game for you. But if you get off your *** and try make it fun them low and behold, you'll enjoy yourself =o

    No such thing as the perfect game, and pwi isn't to bad...they are working on it b:pleasedb:surrender

    If anything, just do NWs on Friday and/or Sunday.

    Penalty-free PvP, you don't need the best gears, it's usually a different experience each time, fight on the same team as high-end players, and get rewarded in tokens which you can sell for coins.

    You can run it solo or with a small squad to change it up and you'll still be fine. Just from nw, I was able to farm 4 r9 pieces, 2nd cast the set, and now I'm working on the refines. At one point I just logged in for nw but got sucked in to farm badges for 3rd cast b:surrender

    I'm just as nostalgic about the past as everyone else is, but we're (typically) decent pvp'ers at worst, and I wouldn't doubt the old schoolers would find it fun again. Nv g16 is cheap and reasonably effective for those with hh99 as their best gears. Just be open minded, make small goals for yourself, and learn the nuances of the game again. It's changed a bit (minimal aerial PvP QQ), but still has the foundation I enjoyed back then.

    I still log in a handful of times each year, mostly around event times (xmas, anni, Halloween etc) and see if its worth sticking around long enough to make a full return. It's not, every few months my oldschool chars just seem more and more outdated and under powered and I don't want to buy a dev a new car buying CS stuff to boost me up. With that said, I would return if there were more of the oldschool players back in the game.
