What mood did you got and do you think is good?

I got the mood Cunning on my nix. Skills seems okay from the description, I didn't try them yet, what mood did you guys got on your pets?
Cunning skills are:
Corroding: Has a 30% chance to reduce the targets p.attack and m.attack by 60% for 6 seconds. Less effective against monsters.
Ghost: Damage from players is reduced by 45%.
I will wait tomorrow before try anything to see if the 140 was a one time thing or not cause if it was I'll save them to evolve my dino and herc.

I got Serene mood.Skills are the follow: 1)Overload that has a 30% chance to attack to extend target s cool down by 20% and lasts 4 seconds (a small rib skill in short words as i see it,but if consider the 1 aps,practically is great skill). 2)Ghost that reduce damage from players by 45% (fair skill i assume,i not pvp so cant tell more for that). 3)Phoenix Wings Flying that deals fire dmg equal to 133% of atk power to ground targets,deals three times dmg to aerial targets.0

I went with the nix first, as I don't actually tank all that often.
And I got "Fierce".
40/72 attack, 3/20 defence, 18/20 HP, 53/90 attack level, 34/50 defence level.
The skills are:
Mind: Add attack and defence levels (2) and Take less than half damage from players. Buff lasts for a good time (half an hour or more)
Craze: Added attack rate (!) It appears that this is a buff which lasts a good long time (like, half an hour) and soemtimes triggers to give an attack rate boost. Added to pounces guaranteed boost, this is scary good on a nix.
And this one I think every nix gets; "Pheonix wings flying": A slowly recycling but pretty hard hitting fire-element attack.
So it's a very PVP focussed set of skills, for a PVE-only player. Ah well.
Which all seems decent enough. The Attack and defence levels confuse the heck out of me though - the major thing pets always used to do was be level 150 for attack calculations, effectively ignoring levels.
So how do attack and defence levels on pets work now?
Regarless of the maths, my nix now hits for about 1k more than it used to; and often more rapdily. And can come with me inside instances. Which is awesome.
And it looks so very shiny and pretty!
It's still pretty squishy.
One unannounced change, might be some time ago but I only just noticed it now that my nix doens't unsummon when I go into an instance - going into an instance purges my pet's buffs.
These skills also look like they're upgradable, gonna try that later.0 -
My Harpy got the mood Valiant.
Increase attack and defence level by 2 and reduce damage taken from players by 55% (lvl1 Mind)
Become immune to movement debuffs (perma anti-stun!).
I really like the permanent anti-stun but I decided to reroll the mood until I get Fair mood. I figured that the anti-stun is probably more handy in a PvP situation anyway as is the damage reduction from players. Since the Harpy is a PvE pet, I might as well try to maximise her damage dealing potential with the Fair mood (+30% damage on mobs, stacks with Harpy's self buff, attack lvl +12).[SIGPIC]http://i.imgur.com/MtwcqjL.png[/SIGPIC]

My evolved nix got Intrepid.
1. Petrifaction. Anti-stun/sleep/freeze
2. Ghost lvl 4. Reduce player dmg 45%.
I do PvP, TW and NW, so i think this Mood is one of the best for PvP pet.
For me the best Mood for PvP is Valiant.0 -

Nothing new, frankly; if you'd had a herc you'd be used to having to rebuff on entry (as well as reselecting default skill.)
My herc got Staunch which is good for tanking.
Regeneration 3 (Regain 3% of max HP every 3 seconds for 30 seconds)
Unyielding 2 (Increase defense level by 8, long term buff of unknown duration)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

JJust checked - and no, it seems that you can't use a tame book to increase the skills you get from mood. Shame.

Ok, one other very nice thing.
The evolved nix is a full fledged GROUND pet as well. Mainly that means "Can go into instances"
But one thing I think people haven't realised is .. it follows terrain now! (Unless you're flying)
No more getting stuck behind tiny hills!
Downsides are longer flight time (before it would cut the corenr, so to speak, now it has to go up and down) and it won't attack things in the air unless you are too.
But I like the fix! No more "recall, jump madly then attack again" dance.
And yes, pets sometimes debuffed when you teleport. But it seems to be every time now.0 -

In my oppinion :
The good moods for Tanking Pets :
1. Pompous : Bloodthirst (recover 12% of max HP) & Howl (Deal damage + Holding aggro skill)
2. Daring : Unyielding (passive skill Def Lv+16) & Howl (Deal damage + Holding aggro skill)
The good moods for DD+PvP Pets :
1. Brash : Soul Eating (self-buff chance to stun) & Spirit (can't be selected by player)
2. Calm : Shocking Sky (deals physical damage 3x in the air) & Spirit (can't be selected by player)
3.Chivalrous : Soul Eating (self-buff chance to stun) & Mind (increase atk & def rank by 6 reduce damage 55%)
4. Fierce : Caze (self buff 6% increase ASPD 25%) & Mind (increase atk & def rank by 6 reduce damage 55%)
5. Rekless : Soul Eating (self-buff chance to stun) & Ghost (reduce damage by 55%)
I might be aiming for one of those skill for my pets (later on b:laugh)0
