My loyal pet and PWI buddy can't evolve >_>

Well, I know it's only been out since this morning, but I kind of have one... tiny little problem with it.

It's not exactly a problem in a sense that it hinders my ability to play the game, in fact, this is entirely a personal problem, but even so, I'd ask that you hear me out. I'm not in anyway going to be rude about this. I would just like to voice this concern on the off chance that someone from PWI is willing to help me out.

I was looking through my pet bag today after Rising Call was finished applying itself to my computer, and was glad to see that my Kowlin, Bear, Glacial and Dark Wanderer were all available for evolution. I wasn't too upset about my tabby or my death knight or even my sea monster not being able to evolve; I was planning to replace them with the new legendaries and old ones anyway.

But I noticed that, much to my dismay, my Chaos, that is to say, my Bloodthirsty Adalwolf, my favorite pet, the pet I've been using since level 15, the pet I've been using for almost three plus years, the pet I bought scrolls off the auction house for so I could continue using it at high levels, did not have the evolution option.

Now, I thought to myself, "Well, you should have expected this. I mean, you're the only one that uses it. And they're not going to make every pet evolve, obviously," but even so, I can't except this. It's the only pet that I really liked, the first one I named, and the one that's saved my butt more times than I can count. And it's a HELL of alot more loyal to me than most of the players on this server, and a hundred times more useful. You might think it's strange, and it is, don't get me wrong. But that pet's my buddy. It deserves better. After all the **** other people have put me through for using it, after people telling me it sucks, and that I should get something better, after all this, it deserves better.

I've been a loyal player for a long time, and a regular customer, and while a lot of people have left PWI I have stayed through everything. And I will continue to support this game. I like it. And I've never asked for anything from it before.

But I'll ask now. Help me out. Let my buddy join the cool pets club. I don't care what the other players have to say about it. I'll even pay for it if you'd like. Nothing fancy; just let my Chaos turn into one of those Krixxix-looking Adalwolf's or..... something.

And if you can help me out with this, please let him have the gotee. The other Adalwolfs make fun of him for not having facial hair. I think he get self-concious.

I agree Im hoping they do it soon. I would like Anubsi my rook to evolve as well. I understand what a pain it would be to give every tamable pet a evolve but it would be nice

Heck yeah! I would love seeing some of the less mainstream pets evolvable. **** mainstream! If it makes you happy to use that pet, it should be evolvable so you can enjoy it to the fullest! b:victory

My first and favourite pet that I used for a very, very long time(Redtail Minkii) can't evolve either; even though I haven't used him for a while for anything but farming distractions, cube puzzles where pet deaths just made the rooms easier, or those other things since higher-stat pets made trying to find a better niche for him hopeless, and it was expected... it still kind of made me a little sad, to see that screen without the evolve option and know. Being able to see a model of him in the menu was still neat, though

I don't really think this belongs in the QC, nor would I try to ask of some sort of 'appearance revamp' for 'weird' pets like the more 'common' ones do, since that'd be unrealistic work to expect(I mean, look at what we're talking about, PWI here, 'allo~) but I think it'd be 'passable' if all the uncommon pets that aren't glorified got some sort of 'standard' inheritance% of stats and skill among all of them so they don't seem like a complete waste. Wouldn't really expect that to happen, either, though x3

I have the same problem with my wolfmaster. Despite the nay sayers it was an awesome pet and despite having a baby dragon was the only one I tended to use. It's not wrong at all to have an emotional attachement to it, in fact its one of the things that kept me playing all these years.

I can understand not wanting to update every single wolf in the game. What I DON'T understand is not having a base upgraded wolf that ALL wolves upgrade to, or all cats (save for the kowlin) or all adalwolves, or Eldergoths, or foxes. The fact that it encourages futher use of the new insance should be an incentive to do it as well. Fact of the matter is, I don't like any of the legendary pets, which is why I sunk a lot of coins into my wolf to bring it up to a legendary level. I know other venos have done this as well. Is there going to be more upgradeable pets in the future? Or are these few it? (The fact they STILL haven't ported over the advanced veno/barb skills adds salt to the wound)

I think the only reason other pets weren't designed to evolve is development time. It took quite a lot to design the new stats, textures, and pet system for the ones that currently can evolve. Then you have to code it all into the client/server and bug test it.

I do hope that they do add more of the more common pets to the system, but understand, that's a hell of a lot of developer hours, and if it ever happens, it's going to be a long while.
