PVE mode on PVE server

Hi guys,
First of all, at the start of the game one gets to pick between pve and pvp servers.
True pve players never suspect at that point that most events that occur there will be pvp, but at least, events well, I can do without them.
Never though would i have thought that instances where you go for pve reasons (culti, BH, quests) also would be pk enabled only.
Secret Passage luckily got fixed, now all of a sudden I stumble on both Cube and WS where out of the blue attacks happen.
PVE players dont have that automatism to go defensive on players, or are busy chatting or grabbing a coke rl after boss died not suspecting any armageddons or other low moves not to have to share the loot to hit them.
I heard now that PVP players come to PVE servers not only for easy kills on the nonexpecting but also because they haven't gotten a new server lately, and level 100 chars just dont move anymore to other servers either, so the fact is PVE players have to share the server with PK'rs.
Hence the suggestion, we already have a PK mode button to put on PK mode in places where it is safe.
Now also please put a PVE mode button that PVE players can use in places where it is apparantly not.
So if a PVP'r wants to kill off everyone in WS or Cube, at least he can only kill the people who chose to be prepared for that.
That and it might actually make your job easier since there would be no reason for anyone anymore to submit tickets for non consencious pk'ing ever xD
Events are just events, but instances should be fun for everyone. Both PVP'rs and PVE'rs.

Well, Cube is also technically just an event. It used to be part of the Chrono chain but they have changed it now (though they have not changed the quest wording so it can be confusing) so that you only have to talk to the guy in Room 1 and can avoid any PvP.
Warsong definitely annoys me. While it is true that you cannot lose items or anything because it isn't real PK, it is stupid that it is allowed anyway for any blue name, and can be aggravating if you are charmed. Generally you are safe there (as long as you are with a decent squad) but admittedly every now and then I get one jerk that leaves squad and kills everyone to steal molds.
I do understand your frustration. I'm a purely PvE player myself, and it gets me down that all of the events are geared toward PvP. My biggest frustration currently is Nation Wars, since the supply token rewards are untradeable and there are things you have to have supply tokens to make. So in that case they are actually denying PvE players (and anyone in a conflicting timezone) the chance to make/acquire items that PvP players can. Seems pretty backwards on a PvE server to me.
The problem is that we get all of our updates from China, and they only have PvP servers over there. So us PvErs aren't really ever taken into consideration.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

well, to be fair it's not like you need those items for pve so you can consider them pvp gear. I admit that it's a pretty weak argument though.you only purge once #yopo0 -
well gear is gear.. and if the stuff that you get with pvp events is stronger, then it's stronger against pve bosses as well...
so needed maybe not, but just as handy to a pve'r as to a pvp'r
I don't get why chinese ppl wouldnt want to try out pve though :-s0 -
But as I said, I can live without the event stuff (just didn't see cube as being one)
I just think it would be better if PVE'rs would have the option to PVE mode.
Cause now only PVP'rs have their mode whilst normal mode still seems to be kind of mixed.

Well, one way to avoid these pkers, is simply get your faction, if in one, to help you out in least WS. Cube though, I don't really care as I don't bother going in there, only for when lvling my veno's pets.0
