the Instant 80 is the main thing i want. Does anyone know if people on archosaur server get this?

    She did say. she was referring to an item. Not sure if you are referring to instant level 80 as in a toon or the item. please could you give more detail?

    He probably means the whole thing about being able to get a toon to lvl80 instantly.

    It seems to be a PWCN-only thing, it was probably given out because of some even or anniversary.

    luckily it`s only for Chinese version, as if hypers and FCC wouldn`t do enough damage, insta lvl 80 with no spirit no skills, people running around like headless chickens, clueless/skilless/pathetically geared, it`s already bad as it is when you encounter randoms who don`t even know how things work @ endgame yet they have reached it!

    It did give you free spirit, as well as getting skills to level 80 for free (no fee).

    No, can't.

    Maybe it would be possible with servers that share the same name database, but for most cases, no, will never be able to happen. There's too much character information that is integrated into multiple databases to be able to successfully extract the data and relocate it.

    There are solutions to any problem, they just require some work. I've had to write pain in the **** SQL scripts to migrate data all the time at my job. I think the real setback is deciding who has to rename their character and who gets to keep the name (ie highest level, most active, random).

    With PWI it's not all stored in the SQL databases though, which is where the core of the problem is. The main data is in the SQL databases, but most of the inter-connecting links are all stored in another proprietary database.

    It's possible, sure. But it's not something that our dev's have ready access to on the servers. It would be a lot easier on servers that share the same uniquename database where those interconnecting links are stored, but you're still looking at 3 different data pools to cross-reference and check during migration, along with all the other links that currently point to the existing profile.

    I'm sure there are things that they could do, but you've also got to look at the big picture. Technically PWE is leasing the game from Wanmei, and PWE doesn't have direct access to change data on the servers.

    I would like to note, that it was a separate server you could do that on if I am not mistaken. It was not on the main servers. But it has been a while since I read the threads on it.

    Wouldn't mind an instant 80 event. Granted most of my classes are already 7Xs.

    If pwe hasn't mentioned it by now, don't count on it.

    Wanmei has a lot of pwcn exclusive stuff, this is one of them.
    I could go on about the events that wanmei but this one stood out because it had benefits that were accessible without being chinese.

    PWE has no reason to give out instant 80 when people already spend loads of cash on FCC.
    Not to mention, we can use hypers in FCC, china cannot.

    If you are truly interested in instant 80, go start a petition or poll thread to get PWE's attention. They probably can't do anything about it but if they see interest they might ask Wanmei about it.
