I'm not a fan of 3D. So, not sure. If you are refering just to the watching part then my answer is yes.

so, why are you not a fan of 3D?

granted, i think some movies have no reason/purpose behind being 3D, and it even takes away from the experience. just curious to see your reasoning.

In the past I have watched several shows in 3D. I just didn't really enjoy the experience. Although at times the picture was great and effects slightly better etc. I found I did not like the glasses at all and the enhancements in most films appears to be negligible.

The 3d is terrible in theaters; at least the ones I go to (Galaxy cinemas). I saw the Star Wars one when it came out in 3d and there wasn't a single moment of 3d. If there was, it was so unnoticeable that well, I didn't notice it. I saw World War Z on Friday in 3d and there was hm..3 moments where stuff popped out at me and it was nice, but the rest of the time it was just tiny little things that had extra visual detail to them due to the 3d.

Couple this with the fact that the way these glasses are made it really skews your vision and what you're looking through does not look nice at all, I would personally prefer to see a regular movie instead of having it in 3d.

PS: I'm not late with posting this, k?

i just get annoyed by the glasses, but that's just b/c i already wear glasses so it's double annoyance. i guess it depends alot on the theatre at well. the local one here is terrible! I drive about 1/2 an hr to go to a decent theatre and tend to enjoy the experience there.

    hi kritty!

OMG, 3-D glasses are such a PITA when you wear glasses. It always feels so awkward, but I can't just take the glasses off cuz it makes the movie all blurry and annoying. >.<

has anyone been able to do anything fun so far this summer?

i had the pleasure of seeing pacific rim on friday, and definitely recommend it to anyone who just wants to see stuff get destroyed. it was kinda fun :) also have a camping trip planned for 2 weeks. will be my first time, ever, to go camping..but i'm sooo excited. partially cause i just wanna try to fly fish for the first time. it looks incredibly complicated. i probably wont catch anything, but its worth a shot.

here's to remembering there IS life outside of "the game" :P

Let's see. I saw Pacific Rim on Friday, as you know already =P. I also recommend people to watch it; great movie. I've played an absurd amount of beach volleyball within the past 2 months and am in the process of wooing several sexy ladies with my body.

The rest that I'm doing is a secret. b:avoid

House of Leaves, because the way the book is written is a giant mental landslide of literature.

Reading the book, you will encounter:
    -Random Blank Pages
-The effect of letters falling off.
    -Pages in reverse
-Depending on copy, every word "house" is written in blue.
-Encounter foreign languages and even musical notes as part of the story.
    -Footnotes have footnotes.
    -And more.
