ok look im having some problems with the ARC program i clicked on install PWI but what i did was i started downloading it yes it was doing good it got to 70% and i had to get off the computer so i paused it and exited the ARC i got up this morning tried to continue but it was back at 0% and now it continues to say error and when i hover over "ERROR" it tells me " the download has paused due to insufficient space. please clean disk space and resume download" well i did and it still says error both of my drives 
and C: are well over 60gb free each what do i do?????

I have this same problem, I even uninstalled and re-installed ARC to see if that fixed it, sadly to say, it didn't. b:surrender Still searching for an answer! :,(0 -

1. Corrupt texture files because you didn't exclude the client from your antivirus.
2. You don't have DirectX 9.0c. It's easy to have the latest and the greatest and still not have what the client requires.
3. Your video driver doesn't support Direct3D acceleration. (Common if you're using the default Windows driver, or the driver that came with your system.)
4. You have a conflicting video codec that is preventing the textures from loading properly.
Unfortunately, I can't give you anything more specific than that without getting more information from you about your system.
I will need a copy of the output from a dxdiag.txt file, and a link to a published Speccy report taken while you are having the issues.
(Remember to use the [code] tags for the dxdiag info and to remove any trademark characters so it doesn't get cut off.) (CODE tag is the # symbol in the editor.)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

As I said above, latest version does not mean you have the files for the version required by PWI. There's an installer included in the client directories....

From what you've managed to post, I can tell you that your problem at a minimum is #3. Your video driver doesn't support the Direct3D features that the client requires.
I'd love to point you in the right direction for your river, but I'll need a Speccy report for that. Dxdiag says that it's a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500/5100 Series. Unfortunately, the 4xxx series and the 5xxx series run different driver packages. So I'd say that, at a minimum, you probably have the wrong driver package installed, on top of having an outdated driver.

I'm getting that same error code that other poster is getting in some other language now whenever I try to dual client. I can start up one just fine so its not the things you had listed. I was dual clienting last night after maintenance so unsure what was changed.0

1. You have Avast antivirus, which is one of the ones I like. Be sure to exclude the entire client directory from both scheduled and real-time scans. (If you have done this already, great, if you haven't, run verify 3 times after you fix it.)
2. PunkBuster is running. While I know that some MMO's require it to run, it does use resources and has been known to slow the client. Disable the service when you're not running a game that requires it.
3. TuneUp Utilities is good for maintaining your system, but it's an unnecessary process taking CPU time away from the client, and when it runs it's periodic scans, it will slow your client and cause latency on your connection. Disable it's active scans when playing.
4. Speccy wasn't any more helpful with the video driver, but further research using the data available in Speccy leads me to believe it's a 4500 series. In which case, you will want to get THIS driver. (The link I provided is US English, you may want to change that page to your region.)
5. You're using wireless. Not only is it going to be much slower than wired, but it's also prone to interference to the signal and traffic jams on the router because of the way wireless traffic is handled. Switching to a wired connection would be a great improvement, especially in MMO's

I am a new user. I have downloaded the ARC and game installation. Normally on W.o.W. but that won't let me log on after the sign in process, "You have been disconnected from Server", or pauses on "Success" page load. Now on this game, when I try to log on, it says my account username/password is incorrect???? Can someone help me solve this problem?0
