T2/T3 bow question

Hi everyone.

I was just checking pwi database to check what i needed to make t3 bow when i came across this www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/25665

This is t2 bow if i'm not mistaken.

My question is is +40 atck lvls so much better than the purge proc one can get from t2 bow?

Or the purge from soul shatter happens so rarely that the steady damage from the +40 is way much better?

    If you get a T3 bow with good stats, then its much better than T2, for example: a T3 with Dex, max dmg +1 random add seems good. The 40 atk levels helps a lot, more helpful at PvP but works in PvE as well.
    About T2 with purge. Purge its the best add of bows, but it only happens few times (with exception of blackhole), so in my opinion you should aim for a T3 with good stats instead a T2 with purge.

    Or an option, you could save a T2 purge bow for tw, if you're giving support, you can aim important targets and try debuff them. But this, its just an option.

    If it's PvE just get the T3 bow.

    Purge is pointless except as a support role if you don't have more than 70 attack levels.\ with jones. Need that to actually do damage to G16+ toons

    for PVE the purge is just so unreliable. Get r9 or bring a veno

    I troll sage spark BoA 1shot full N3 cleric and archer, both for 18.5kish crit, earlier today with my archer and N3+10 bow. My bow has + dex, + str(re-statted into dex) + 1 attack level I think but archer currently uses sins armors = no attack levels from there. I know what I did was troll but I did not expect to hit anywhere near that high.

    I actually got N2+6 bow on sin, I had the N3 as +7 for a while. Sin usually kills Morai mobs 4-5 hits wint N2 bow, archer 2-3 shot them, mostly 2 shot. Difference between N2 and N3 bow damage is ridiculous, while purge is great tool and all but if nirvana bow is your endgame bow, for the love of something N3 it :).

    R9 or T3 everything else is pointless.
