White name and I didn't turn it on myself :o

I've had this happen to me twice now x.x
First time I could turn it off right away like if I had been on for 10 hours (did it right after I logged) but this last time when I tried it said "PK mode activated.. something something.." (I dont remember the exact text but the normal one when you go into PK mode xD) and it let me wait 10 hours before I could get my nice blue color back x.x
Happened first time a few patches ago, 3 if you count the one today.

I was talking to a friend of mine about it and she have had the same thing happen to her ones now.

Anyone ells have had this problem?

At first I tut it might have to do with the fact that I was in warsong before I logged out and maybe I was pink named when I got out without noticing (I cant remember but I doubt this was the case), but the 2nd time it happened I was just at some random place on the world map (somewhere outside of lost i think xD).

Ideas, similar experience etc? ^^ Maybe this another addition for the quality corner? b:chuckle

    I think it's reproducable through cube of fate as well.
    If you have a room with mobs in it, pull it to the npc and use tangling mire (or an AOE might work as well)
    That will make your name go pink-ish. Now force log off and log back in.

    It happened to me a few times during cube runs after I AOE'd near an NPC and then got a DC, logged back on and got white named but could turn it off with the PK button right away.

    It happened to me, a couple of days ago, while fighting a boss in Warsong.

    This has happened to me a number of times before. Every time it was in warsong. Someone should make a thread in the Quality Corner.

    I have a feeling when you use an AoE skill on the Vile boss in Warsong, it also hits the NPC that spawns the Vile boss, which somehow turns you into a white name.

    Interesting, if it's reproducible, feel free to make a QC post.

    It happened to me also in a fws run, fortunately i relog and i didnt have to wait the 10 hours penalty to turn blue again

    I can have pink name to in warsong and not go white name...and goes back blue without re logging or going to the pk button.
