I'm sure I saw someone mention this a while back; since PWI is based off PWCN (of course) the venos and barbs are strictly the one gender due to chinese mythology, a "werefox" was only ever female and a chinese whateverabarbisinchinesemythology was only ever male. I'm pretty sure it's 100% to do with chinese mythology and changing that would ruin the whole purpose.

The number one thing I couldnt understand from the very start was why the vending shops couldnt have 20 slots... as a merchant this irritates me.
I can understand about the chinese mythology.. but still. Just like some fashion doesnt work on barbs the gender essences could be the same, where it does not apply to the barb nor veno
xD I chose female toon because when I started playing the game the male fashion really really sucked0 -
