Treasure map chests/bosses inaccessible

There are a number of places where treasure map chests have the potential of spawning under terrain/inside objects, or the bosses they spawn spawning inside objects where even if you can hit them they can't hit you and just reset (and even if you could kill them the drops would be inaccessible.)
Chests spawning under terrain happened to me 3 times this 2x, and a boss spawning in an object happened to me once. It would be really great if the spawn locations would be reviewed, and either moved away from problem spots or other restrictions put on them so these problems are avoided.

it happened to me too mostly near Raging Tides mountains + there are some in the sea that you have NO GUIDELINE whatsoever to see where it can be so it makes it extremely hard and time consuming to find it.
Also the last bosses (the lvl 5 ones) are more stronger and they stun you way too much... you can't kill it with a party cause of the simple stun after stun after stun and then tank dies and so does everyone else and you can't aps it cause of the constant reflect. I remember i used to tank them with my HH 99 +5 set (weapon HH 99 +8) and another ep healing me but now with r9 full set i barely make it cause of the constant aoe stuns... I had no idea they stun so much now At least remove the constant stun rate or make it on tank only, rest doesn't bother that much and a barb can tank it easy. It's fine if you decide to leave the reflect and all it self buffs but the constant stun has to go down so a party can actually kill it.0 -

I am pretty sure that these are not bugs and is kind of irrelevant to the thread.

I sent a ticket over then one year ago they say they was working on it....

The answer is always to range tank the map 5 bosses. Of course there is the issue of keeping them from going after the range attackers.
I found that if you attack them and run away until they reach their distance limit they will go back to their spot and then not leave it when range attacked. All the treasure map bosses do this.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Most of the map 5 bosses are easily soloed with a herc. (Had one over the weekend that had over 6 million HP and hit harder, that one killed my herc several times and I had to call in backup.)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Few spots where I get system hint about chest without possibility to dig it because chest was in the earth or mountain...

Thanks everyone. This is a known issue for us, but one that we're at an impasse regarding. The chests are spawning in a non-set location to avoid botting behavior, but that means the chests are sometimes spawning underground. The spawning underground thing seems to occur where the slope is severe. I recently spawned the chest for Jian'rin's Fist down by the river northwest of Etherblade and up the hill among the mobs; a third chest (which I know was for Jian'rin's Fist because I could not activate the quest until I'd found the one by the river) fell into the void on the slope up from the river. Keeping the potential spawn locale away from steep slopes would reduce the problems greatly. The other problem is having the chest/boss spawn inside an object (tree, rock, building, pile of logs etc.) and trying to check/restrict for those may be a harder problem for the devs.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

i don't mind the random spawnage that is good, keeps u from being pked. anyhow they can look at the map, and add in the area where there are mountains or other objects in between to the spawnage randomness so it spawns everywhere BUT in places u cant reach. ik thats a real hard task but we would apreciate it alot! it is fine if they can't do it all at once, just start out peace by peace. any little improvement in this department is much areciated. Also, when the chests spawn in the middle of the sea, id like some more land or something near it, cause last time i had one spawning near arch in the water, and nothing near it to make it easier to find. the others are doable0

I realize the chests are non-set locations, but the ones that do this are always in the same general location.
If we were to come up with a list of locations where this happens, could those locations perhaps be removed?
I recall this happening out by the entrance to Valley of Disaster. And I've had it happen at least 3 times. Though that was early on when this feature was first introduced. It now seems like I never get one in that spot anymore. I remember a lot of complaints about that spot back then, which makes me think it may have been removed.

Of all the times it had happened to me, it happened a lot in/near Valley of Disaster, because the terrain there is most hilly. Coincidentally, that is the perfect name for that location xD
All 5th map bosses can be easily solo-ed by a fully buffed seeker with bp.0 -
I just had a chest spawn underground for me on my veno.
This is in Land of Whispers under one of the craters in the raging tides area.
Only way I could even see it was to use the screenshot option.
