Even tho my server is still active im really sad to see many simply quit game or find Pwi a waste of money and time when a server goes puff... servers and databases are outdated, make a new big one, maintain 3 servers max, they would be bigger and more interesting.. -removed- is a great game.. how many more will leave soon?

Hard to merge database? Too bad, work it out, make it happen do overtime, anyway most of those databases are full with old and dead players that quit years ago, you might as well only merge ones that were active for last 2 years.

This is for PWI management, im thinking to make a letter to PWE corporation as well, its been 4 years after all.. its about time.

    It may be prudent to mention that the OP is full R9S3+12 JoSD with a Dominance tome (unless he upgraded it to Emperor since I last checked his gear). Pretty much every time a major gear upgrade comes out, he's always the first one on my server to have it (or at least, the first one I see flaunting it afk somewhere in Archosaur).

    I'm not saying he's wrong (necessarily). I'm just saying that it's ironic for someone like him to talk about people leaving, when the gear he obviously champions is such a massive part of the problem that's causing people to leave. >_>

    Sooner or later they, PWI company have to do it ( you can see they merged 2 EU servers into Morai server ) when there was the reduction in numbers of players .

    The point here is parallel to the merge, they need spend money on modifying the unbalanced problems + modifying database, all those thing need money and time, and this game is on downhill so they -PWI company- had tried to do both mission ( improve game contents and gain as many money as they can before game come to end point).

    Why do they need maintain and invest too much on a downhill game ( even it is a flag ship one) , when they launch new game like Never
    Winter ,plus with the appearance of a lot of new MMORPGs ??

    What they are doing now is forcing players pay cash to get end game thingies and gain as many as they can before game die or will lead players here to the new one.

    Lol, if you knew anything about the databases, you'd know you're on one of the only 3 mergable servers in PWI at the moment.

    Still no. You might be okay with starting over from scratch with nothing to your name but your pocket book, but not everyone thinks the same as you.

    Not to mention the work behind attempting to merge the non-linked databases is just insane and you probably couldn't pay the devs enough to attempt it. It wouldn't be worth it.

    about time some1 made a post about this, game is getting really boring and ppl keep quiting or just logging for 30 mins tw, 2 hours of fun in nw or just talk to in-game friends. there is like no pk at all, nothing good of fun to do. idk start working for us and stop thinking on ur pockets give us a server merge so we can have fun again

    Where have you been for the past 4-5 years?

    Obviously not on the forums. There's at least one thread a month on this, and it gets old. I'm sorry if you rushed past all the fun to 105 and now you're bored.

    If it's hard to merge servers, then give us the option to transfer from one server to another with a reasonable fee.

    I think all server have the same database structure inside so it's not a hard work to do. b:pleased

    I vehemently oppose a merge to anything with HT (and Sanc is probably the same). We are active enough, populated enough; there is never a lack of squads for things in wc. If we brought in a whole other server's worth of people West Arch would be impossible to enter for people that currently have lag issues there.

    The only time I ever see people QQing about wanting a merge on this server is when they want more people PKing. In that case.... go join a PvP server. We're doing just fine as we are.

    I do admit that servers like Archosaur might have some issues, though.

    It isn't easy, actually. There is the problem of shared name databases. Those that don't share name databases cannot be merged because it could leave the problem of two people on one server having the same name. So only certain servers are even eligible to be merged together at this point.

    But I do think a one-time server transfer with a fee is a good idea. It would at the very least help out all of the people that worked hard to get where they are before a European server was introduced, but have restricted access to events due to timezone where they currently are. Most people are unwilling to start the whole process again.
