    I moved on to greener pastures. Looking back, I don't even know how this game held my interest. I can't even come on to do stir up controversy in WC. That being said, I hope life is breathed back into this game for the sake of the people that play it.

    With a combination of being busy IRL and not having anything to do on PWI, I've really not logged in to PWI at all recently.

    TW was the only thing that I used to do after not being able to play everyday anymore, and now that that's dead... b:surrender

    Sad that it seems many of you pkers that made WC....interesting to say the least, are leaving.

    But, like anything else in life, including life itself, there is an expiration date, and as PW has been of late, pushing itself towards it like a carton of milk left unrefrigerated, in the heat of the summer's sun.

    To those who have left, or are considering it, may the journey you take, lead you towards happiness wherever you may find it.

    The coma is long, and the life support plug looks to be pulled in the not so distant future, once PW is done milking anyone with deep pockets, or lack of common sense. To buy end gear now, would be an act of gross incompetence.

    strangely i logged in yesterday for tw, first time in months. but its still not enough to make me come back "full time" again.

    Honestly, there are plenty of mmo's that have been around and are still around for over a decade now... I do not really see PWI nor Raging Tide Server as being near "dead" just yet...

    There are likely many players up and coming in the next year or two that today's "top tw factions" or today's "op's" have not even noticed yet. That's not to say there will be any kind of mass influx of new players, only players that are already playing, that are taking their time for various reasons to reach the top.

    Those that are still around from today's landscape will be the elders of that day and age to come. I would say RT at "end game" is in a lull for now, and may very well remain in that lull till some time next year.

    All we can do is wait and see... and maybe even f2p an alt or two, while doing quests at level, in squads that are doing the same in the meantime... Or take a break for now while keeping an eye open for that time to come...

    NW came out. People spammed recast. Are back to being bored. It was a band aid fix. This game might have a cult following when it turns ten years old. But it won't be as successful as panda land because that company put out a lot of content continuously throughout the years. When I log just to peek around, RT is what the Euro servers looked like when they first came into being.

    This game's content has always lagged behind its player base. And most people I know who still play do it because of friends and not really because of the actual game....

    6 expansions since this game was created, and 1 of those is relatively insignificant. Not to mention the graphics to computer resources ratio is completely unjustified. I think "lagged behind its player base" is a rather large understatement. I can't even imagine paying for the P2P version of this game.
