I saw such an suggestion like.. million of times on other games and 99% of the response from someone who actually could send such an idea to the devs are, that they dont even have the client files for such an old version anymore.
I think this is the case here too and also, why bring up an old version of PWI? Dont want any updates? Yea, worked well with PWI-MS. Go and play there *giggle*

A matter of opinion. They can try to answer the question. I still dont' know what the OP specifically wants or finds so unatractive. What I have is your opinion of what you think he is implying. All well and good. But not specific enough or detailed enough to explain what went wrong where and why. And how this change would improve the state of the game.

The OP's original post is more of an emotional response to a remembered feeling of when a game was new. This happens with almost every MMO release. Someone at sometime wants to go back to what they percieve as the golden years.

And just to let you know. I am well aware that the game is different then it was when I started in Jan, 09. b:victory

Sure i CANT give you the opinion, he is thinking of, but i think everyone gets, what he wants.
The old days where very good, i quested alot, done FB's with mates on my level, done BH's with mates on my level (40-ish and up) and and and, when i first saw a group of players hunting down Sword Tamer, that was some epic battle right there.
Took them quiet a while but it was a very good group back then and even got 2 crono pages.

I don't want to make guesses or assumptions. Do I grasp the concept of going back to an earlier stage of the game? Yes.

Do I agree with taking it back to the beginning? Well let me hear the pros' and cons.

In your post above you are already made a statement about the game that didn't exist in the beginning. (BH) Genies didn't exist in the beginning either and I like my Genie. So, If I was to support something like this I want to know the details. What am i giving up exactly and what am I gaining?

Unless you want to take ownership for this idea and start filling it out then fine I'll listen critique, play buddy, play devils advocate, But the OP has given us nothing. By the way by Sept of 09 the game had already changed a bit since release 08.
