Any suggestion on what class to play next?

Hello all,

I have finally be able to purchase my full set light nv3 and was wondering what light classes to play next, besides archer and sin. What other classes is good in light? b:pleased

    Well, there's veno, which is viable because light armor doesn't nerf pets and the primary function in mass pvp is inflicting debuffs which aren't contingent on damage output, but apparently you have that already.

    Wizards, Psys, Clerics, and Mystics all benefit significantly from maxing out magic, and you would reduce damage a lot. Any benefit you could get from picking up extra pdef and hp would be compensated for by loss of effectiveness and magic resistance (LA casters make me lol) especially since g16 robes at high refines will still provide a lot of survivability, let alone the fact that an r9 set will probably be more survivable, and r9r3 definitely will be. Conversely, Bms, Barbs, and Seekers would lose damage and survivability so that's plain out.

    You definitely could make an LA bm or caster but I find that there's a reason the popularity of LA casters has waned significantly, at least on Sanctuary, in the last couple years.

    I'm not sure if it's different in a PVP server though where you need that survivability to protect from ganks (though tt80 LA won't help you much against any level 100 with good gear)

    None of them.
    Light armor is terrible...
    But if you must, an LA Wizard works...decently due to Stone Barrier, and a Veno does okay with Fox Form.

    As I stated before though, due to the increased survivability provided by newer gear, or more accessible gear (I'm talking relative to when tt80 was good) LA is relatively obsolete. Presumably you have either a cube neck/warsong belt or at the very least a moderately refined Lionheart neck/belt. Those at high refines will provide enough pdef for you to be moderately survivable. If you also have a refined sky cover, that's a good option as it will provide even more pdef. LA casters are obsolete, there are other ways to get the survivability (or near it) that are more effective without having to nerf damage to the same extent.

    If you already have a very highly refined g16 set I suppose it might be worth it if you are working towards getting an AA set, but the thought of someone leaving it LA indefinitely makes me feel a little queasy.

    Don't HA and AA benefit more from L3?

    I'd make another account with a barb or cleric to exchange buffs.
    Be kind: Help the GMs to depopulate the servers.

    On topic: Use LA till you can get decent AA for your wizard. Otherwise, you're wasting your potential.
