Which class/build is most worth it to go r9r3?

So yes, I will choose one class to go r9r3 with. I enjoy all classes pretty much equally though demon barbarian will always be "my thing". He is, however, already full T3 and I'd like to know whether I take his gear further or do it for some of my alts.

What I want from the r9r3 character? Versatility, build works well in both PVE and PVP, it's also worth the time spend for it and gets the best advantage out of r9r3 instead of r8 or T3 for example.

Here are the classes/builds I have:
- Demon T3 barb, hybrid
- Demon aps sin pure dex
- Demon pure magic cleric
- Incoming sage DPH sin
- Incoming sage barb, full vit
- Incoming aps demon barb
- Incoming str demon barb
- Incoming sage psychic, pure mag
- Sage seeker, vit build
- Sage or demon pure mag venomancer
- Demon pure mag wizard
- Demon/sage pure dex archer
- Demon pure mag mystic
- Demon/sage all weapon BM

R9.3 ANYTHING will easily handle (m)any PVE-related instances if you're well refined/sharded.

PvP? Maybe the Psychic/Wizard (because Purify) or the Mystic/Cleric (who can also be very useful in PvE). You could also upgrade your Sage DPH Assassin to this for even more DPH (especially with GOF) and get access to Sage Tidal Protection for PvP and use/swap gear with your Demon Sin's for PvE

Eeh to be honest, any class is worth gearing up with R999 as long as you enjoy playing it and it's what you want to play. It's the best gear out there for each class (and the build goes accordingly to the class).

If barbarian is the class you play/enjoy the most then go for it and make it R999

I would have to say Psychic. 1st cast R9 Psychics are beast, s2 and s3 with josd, is practically impossible to kill. But then again so is R9s3 vit Barb with josd.

Go with the class you like the most. I doubt the T3 nirvana gear will go to waste, as you have other HA classes on your list (which you already share it with probably). And the helmet + cape is a good addition to the rank armor parts.

I voted for barb for you. Since it seems to be your more favored class to play, but also because r9 barbs are ridiculous. Deal very nice damage and are insanely hard to kill. Plus, barbs are always wanted and useful in PvE. win win.

On the flip side, if you had 100% decided to give r9 to an alt, I would say wizzy or cleric.

Wiz and Psy are both very fun to play, but if the class you're used to is a tanky melee type, it's going to be a bit of adjustment of mentality. You will no longer survive big aoe fests (until you get higher gear and your morias and you can jump in the middle of it and use Ice Prison and let you and your squad faceroll people, god I love that skill :P)

I might consider my barb. Sad thing is, though, that my barb is wearing bound T3 and is all alone on his own account. Maybe I could do a str-seeker and axe BM on his acc to wear the old gear and swap to r9r3 on my demon barb... Then again get shouted at for my culti choise b:surrender

Honestly I've been thinking that wiz/psy/cleric as r9r3 would be ridiculous as well.. I am quite used to cleric in NW and I enoy playing him though it requies kiting and being aware of the enemies that can 1-2 shot you out of nowhere.

I think sage barb won't get my interest.. Also heard that r9r3 archers are getting weak..

Sage r9r3 sin, then again, sounds really cool and that is a class I'm used to play a lot as well.

I got no opinion about mystic/seeker/BM really... I like all three and they are fun to play but... somehow I do not see as big advantages in r9r3, maybe I am wrong?

Think I drop veno out of this case, they seem bit... useless these days.

Indeed, why play a class just because it`s considered better and the one you don`t really enjoy playing??

Fine, let me explain again

I like, enjoy, playing all classes. ALL of them. Even though my main is "my thing", I do not feel the need to get superior gear for him if some other of my chars would get better use out of it. What I mean to say is... my barb is already good enough in PVE and I like him in PVP as well. If r9r3 gives my demon barb hiuge advantage I would go to r9r3 with it, but for example if a psychic would get much higher advantage choosing r9r3 instead of T3 than barb choosing r9r3 instea of T3, I'd pick the psychic.

Which class/build is most worth it to go r9r3?
