Is this possible?

So with all the complaining about certain classes not being taken in to certain squads for certain dungeons, I was wondering if it would be possible to make a dungeon where the route to the bosses are the same, as are the mobs, but the bosses are different? Like different bosses spawn, randomly so people can't tell which boss they're going to be fighting, and won't be so picky about the classes they let in to their squad.

For example, someone might take a cleric, barb, wizzy and 4 aps DD's. Then it turns out the boss has an anti-aps buff so the only good DD ends up being the skill spamming wizzy. This way the squads would have more diversity because the squad wouldn't know which boss they're going against.

Also, the squad would be limited to 8, and have a MINIMUM of 8 required to enter this way, the squad could fit in more people of different classes, and no one could enter, stealth/clear to boss and make the rest of the squad then.

So, my question is, would a dungeon like this be possible?

Sure, just look at AEU's three different routes and the mobs/bosses/objectives that follow suit.
The question would be whether or not the reward of doing said instance would be "worth it"...

Oh, never done AEU, but from what I know, the route you get spawned to is random? But the bosses are the same, I.E route A always has boss A? I was thinking this dungeon would be for a BH, so the bosses that spawn in there are completely random, like it could have a warsong boss in there, or SoT, or abba, or AEU, or some other dungeon

    Correct~

I was thinking this dungeon would be for a BH, so the bosses that spawn in there are completely random, like it could have a warsong boss in there, or SoT, or abba, or AEU, or some other dungeon

So...one dungeon for multiple BH bosses appearing at random? While its an interesting idea, I like that there are multiple different instances that house the current BH bosses, but I agree that there should be a bit more diversity - if not in what bosses we receive as a BH, then their actions.

    Like so:
BH Metal being today, a group enters Warsong.

The Snakefist that appears can either be Snakefist A or B

Snakefist A is the same as the normal one who buffs himself with Frenzy and favors High DPS squads

Snakefist B has the Fortification Draught buff and significantly lower HP, but will regenerate its full health after a certain amount of time, favoring Magic/DPH

Something like that could be easier to create than to make another instance with randomly appearing bosses.

While it's an interesting idea, the code for the client doesn't support it.

Your idea is pretty much good i have 1 more idea to resolve this issue.

The current BH is designed for 6 players due to the original plan of 6 classes in game.

Fix Action: Change all BH zones (doesn't have to be just 100) to allow a party of 10 people IF and only if you have a rainbow squad of 10 people. If you don't contain 1 of every class at entering then it should only allow the first 6 people to zone in (like the current rules).

This will encourage people to find and play with every class in the game by giving us a bonus advantage of more people to help kill.

It should reduce the number of requests I see for "ONLY SIN", "ONLY BARB", or "ONLY CLERIC" and such that we all now see. Every class should have a chance at every zone.

    We have 10 classes now.

This may also reduce the number of wines needed as well as the number of tokens being purchased (possibly reducing token prices).
Also a reduced shared price for a Lunar run. Maybe people will start running Lunar again.

It would have to be 7~10 all different classes because if someone left or D/Ced then the entire party would be screwed if the code was looking for 10.

I think it's possible, PWI just need to add some programming to set the boss behavior and area of restrictions base on dungeon they appear. :P This will be interesting and exciting to each squad :)

    snip

Terrible idea imo. It's already bad now getting a functioning squad together with a healer and a tank.

Why would you want to make it any worse by forcing people to find one of each class? Hell, look at how few mystics/wizards there are for example. You're just making things way more complicated.

Also, lunars a 500k fee at level 100. Not bad, especially considering that you get back since most people do a full run. And those who don't just don't care about their cash anyway.

As a sin i never had any problem finding BH squad whatever the BH is , but i have seen many mystic many seekers many wizz spend there whole day trying to get into a BH squad specially when it's BH Snake or Abba. When it comes to FWS ppl mostly look for a sin/barb/bm/veno/cleric rest classes are excluded mostly. This has been going on since Palace of Nirvana was introduced. I never even bother to login my mystic anymore just because of this. I'm sorry but it's a true fact in general most of the
non-aps classes have hard time doing stuffs where squad is neccessary.

I think the best way to fix this is to implement some kind of instance that is like AEU, but completely unrelated to BH. It would have some kind of reward at the end, maybe an instance for coin. It would require 10 people, all of a different class, almost like how Missive requires one of every order. This would encourage people to create more venos, mystics, and wizzies. It also would be pretty friggin impossible to abuse this system, as you need 10 players, so PWI Dev's can't QQ over potential abuse, blah blah, ****** blah.

A person trying to multiclient 10 account would probably trip an alarm for the GMs, which would result in a ban. If PWI doesn't have a basic security measure like this, then they seriously need to go back to school. b:chuckle
