Allow for male Venos and female barbs!

These particular characters are actually derived from centuries old Chinese mythology, and as such there is no plan to alter them. If you are looking for a good class to tank or use pets, and really don't want to play a specific gender for whatever reason the Earthguard class is now available. While the Seeker and Mystic are not exactly the same as Venos and Barbs. And differ in very important ways the seeker is a suitable tank in most situations and the mystic summon does allow you to play with a companion making a pretty decent solo class.

I think v4laince should make this interesting for us, and post a couple links to the so-called Chinese Mythology barbs and venos are based off of. Heck, anyone should for that matter, cause I have looked, and could find nothing. I've seen references, but no actual stories. Until then, I have to call the BS card on this.

Doesnt work, and body edits arent allowed anyway. I tried making a barb look female, it doesnt work. Trying to make a veno look male you just end up with a fat, ugly girl.

Interesting. I do know that tigers have been a fierce and masculine Chinese mythological symbol. A simple google search provided information like this:

So yeah these are definitely important cultural symbols in China and already bring to mind certain masculine and feminine imagery, even though they don't mean those things in the West. I wouldn't be so quick to throw the BS card on ancient culture, there are some pretty crazy things in these old mythos. Some of which isn't necessarily easy to search. Anyway, in PWI barbs are actually white tiger spirits and venos are actually foxes, the "human" forms are the transformations.

That reminds me of how a while back when I exclusiveily used fox forme for everything but bramble and those general skills(those good old days~), and I always thought it was kind of disappointing that whenever you logged on, your 'first' forme was always the human one instead of the animal one since I'd just have to morph out of it. I think it'd be pretty neat if the fox forme/true forme 'buffs' lasted through logout as well as death like how pyschics' SoV does, so you'd just log on as a fox or tiger (or dead plushie fox or panda).
--aha, once in FB51 I disconnected after I had died in fox forme, and so re-connected in human forme, and one of the party/faction members started poking at me because I was suddenily not a fox x3
