So, I'm not sure about the rest of you but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only seeker annoyed at our new choice of weapon fash... oh wait, not choice, it's candy stick or... candy stick! such range!
But it's not even this that annoys me, it's the fact that they are SO SMALL, if they just made them a bit bigger they could be so cool.. have so much potential... cause currently it looks like I'm attempting to destroy people with a tiny little Chinese candy, At least make it a big Chinese candy so it has some hitting power D:!

We all know what we THINK they look like; candy anyone? f:sneaky Think it... don't say it 'xD

But all jokes aside, they aren't very practical, not to mention the seeker stances on them look downright silly,
DON'T THEY.
And there is even a practical issue, I cannot tell when I have any of my seeker buffs (not stances) on; Bladed Fervor, Saber Rattle or Krav Maga
And since they don't show up as actual buffs under the health bar of a toon... you have basically removed any way of someone being able to tell if someone is seeker buffed or not, without checking for the buff on the actual weapon via checking gear. And this is a major pain in the ***, can weapon fash please be edited to show seeker buffs?

I think this is about the end of my rant, if anyone else has anything to add please feel free to do so!

EDIT;
After posting this I have discovered a glitch with seeker buffs and removing weapon fash! Even after removal of weapon fash you cannot see your seeker buff without having it re-buffed, and I hate to say this but it is a major freaking pain x.x'
Edit Again;
You cannot even rebuff it after removal of weapon fash, you have to re-log completely.

    The idea of timed fashion is stupid. Regardless of what it's on. Autopot is fine, but a trinket like fashion? No. Just no.

    Not to mention, only a handful of weapon types are compatible. If you're going to release something, even something stupid, at least have the decency to release a full version of it instead of half-assing it like every other update.

    Whoever thought PWI needed weapon fash.. meh. I don't really like it, it'll make PvP harder for sure [before I attack someone, I always check their weapon to make sure it's someone I have a good chance to beat] and some of the designs are pretty silly. At first I was a bit excited for it but after seeing the designs.. they're all hilariously unfortunate, especially the "candied fruit" -wink wink-

    Otherwise, I like the weapon fashion...b:surrender I really like asian stuff so I really like the designs and whatnot..but that's just me D:

    I don't like fighting fights that I have no chance against them at all (especially in like NW where you have limited spawns in lands), being able to see what kind of weapon people have prevented that most of the time.
    Now that people can hide what their weapon looks like...well unless you know who they are by recognizing what their toon looks like or body fashion, you could be running into fire with a bottle of gasoline in your hand. f:shock

    Yeah, I can definitely see how this can affect PvP although I'm quite sure people on each server already know the most OP/skilled players already and can recognise their toons as well, unless they decided to suddenly have a big make over b:shocked

    It's probably going to be annoying regardless but..there's not much you can do about it.

    Hidden weps could be an issue when squadding. Sometimes when your in a rush and you wc for someone, you squad them and don't have time to veiw the gear. You only notice a problem when they can't take a hit. or they not doing some damage. It's happened several times where I was invited into a squad, started running it and noticed some people were dying easily. Come to find out that the person that did the inviting didn't happen to check what some people were wearing. You know what happens when you have 4k hp, taking a 10k hit, the cleric will be spam rezzing. Oh well, lets see how this plays out. Might be fun to watch someone take a beating with a fish lol

    Once again, the devs had a terrible idea. They wanted to make it fun via joke weapons (a bit like in Tales of Symphonia or the Soul Calibur series), but it all doesn't seem very refined in the end... As usual. b:surrender

    Lol so much QQ-ing. I agree that having it timed for 30 days is silly, but I personally love the idea. This is a game; it's supposed to be fun. I look forward to being smacked around by a stick of candy, zapped by a plate of potstickers and blown up by firecrackers.
    Yes, we won't be able to see a rank 9 bow from a mile away in NW but who cares? You'll figure out someone's gear soon enough when you see how much damage you do on them.

    Not to mention that even with weapon fashion, extreme makeovers (R9 people on Momaganon are really fond of doing this for some silly reason) you can see who someone is in NW really easily... Just click on whisper...

    I make fast decisions in NW and other similar group PvP events where I need to identify a target and classify them as fast as possible. I do this by 1. judging their style, 2. judging how many dead people are around them, and 3. their character's look - i.e, their customization, fashion wealth (dyed pure black much?), and of course their weapon.

    It's going to be annoying as ** deciding whether I'm either going to **** a TT99 char or suicide on S3.

    I have plans to make my toon bright red, get a red bikini and use my "Chinese candy" to abuse people in NW/TW, I will name myself...

    I do have to say though that NW and general PK or Group PK will be a lot harder now I cannot guess at what someones gear is like depending on their weapon.

    It was already hard enough with the Third Cast R9 being the same as Morai Gears Q-Q

    Why i say +100000000

    1) cuz if i wear a big dress and hold a big glaive it cuts in. i use lantern...poof! looks like a pataka but it aint!

    2) lowbies in nw maybe won't be "targets"

    3)cause imagine what could be done! other pwi games have fashion has ATTRIBUTES people! ATTRIBUTES!

    Rather disappointed to be honest. The problem here is these fashions were developed to Asian tastes and for an Asian playerbase. PWI simply copy-pasted the update. No development work was put in to create any designs that would appeal to an international market. I have no doubt most of us could think up far better ideas that would sell ten times as well. In the end it's just more laziness. Copy-paste updates cost them next to nothing after all.

    I wont be buying any, anyway. They all look pretty awful.

    I'd far rather they brought in something that actually was fun. For example, different versions of the Telepath charm.

    I dont understand why would anyone hates those weapons.

    Im glad they added more chinese styled materials into the game. After seeing those weaps, somehow I feel like playing "PW" again.
    (I had the feeling Im not playing "PW" anymore after the Tideborn patch, just because... dunno, it has lost its chinese touch.... and dont let me starts on the motorbike!)
