With the new r9 3rd cast and the NW items
what is the best wizard possible that someone could ever get hold off?

Would be interesting to see what it would turn out like
what class would be closest to taking out this wizard in a 1vs 1

With like 20k+ physical and magic defense. i feel sorry for other classes b:thanks

    hmmm why would you use Dot's even though the extra damage is helpful defense or hp shards would be a better option. its not like wizards with 100 attack levels isn't strong enough anways :P

    If you refined the wrists, your calc would be pretty close to my response as well. Also for best wizard possible, you can bump up all the variable stats on gear to max.. and for pwcalc.. would probably be better to add the resists from r9 nw ring to belt, you can account for the mdef adds as well. Also the emperor tome stats are wrong

    I mostly took the stuff walpurga posted and made it more surviability oriented, I may have cleared the refines on those by accident.

    Couldn't remember the exact stats on emperor tome because looking at it just reminds me I'm never gonna get that thing QQ

    With spark a wiz has the ability to have higher damage output than anyone else anyway. Most of us need to be more concerned with surviving long enough to do that. And besides, even with jades, that wiz would still hit like a train.

    I prefer higher base survival/damage over crit myself, I'd swap the lower grade helm/cape with nw (end game) helm/cape, put sapphire shards in wep, take the 10 added base dex out, and probably want to mix the engrave stats a bit (crit is good, but so is magic/def level etc)

    More of less, I did just notice that the stats are way off on the armor and a few other issues with the calc (didn't take into account the mdef from +12 ghostport ring, didn't account for +400 hp on emperor tome, the neck is not engraved), and obviously I prefer sage over demon.. so for my best possible wizard I'd make that change as well.

    Sorry can't help it.. but there would be almost no reason to triple spark BIDS as demon. You get far superior damage with triple spark BT, and MS does essentially the same damage but has a farther range and stuns anybody that lives (which there are many full buffed targets that could.. especially if they had a mdef charm active).. BIDS is the least attractive choice of all the ultis for demon. Also using genie, apoth, and all your chi in one go is generally not advisable unless it is the last resort. Most people would die to a simple BT or BT + frenzy.. and the apoth/chi for survival or more ults would almost certainly be more effective in the long term than wasting it all to kill a small group of people (and using it all still wouldn't guarantee kills lol.. be as easy as hitting domain or anyone with good gear + buffs having a mdef charm active).

    Pretty much same thing with your other scenario, using your sparks + apoth + genie all at one time is a bad idea. I rarely chain apoth with ice prison.. 99% of the time I use it, it locks my target(s) and the immune is unnecessary. It's also make you feel like quite the idiot if they see it coming and just fortify as you blink towards them.. walk out of range and now everything you have is on cd.

    Also when you get good gear, pvping without buffs isn't really a choice often times.. you get rage/ninja purged constantly in pvp because you are so difficult to kill with buffs, in good pvp I'm almost always self buffed.. and focusing on more survival stats is imo more useful most of the time. Crit is great.. especially for randomly bypassing people, but I try not to rely on crits to take people down, it is usually unnecessary.. and when it is, over 20% crit is sufficient. It isn't that I wouldn't want more crit, but I think survival stats are usually more valuable.
