hi all, I came back after a 6 month break to find a lot has been added but not for me that I can find.

I'm level 85 veno soloist and I don't see anything new for me.

So... did I miss something?
b:thanks

Hmm, there is Nation Wars now. That's probably the biggest change that occurred in your absence.

There were a lot of new quests added with the Sirens of War expansion, some of which have no upper level cap.

The new foxform and the upcoming new pet system won't affect you until you're 100.

Three major changes, although not all apply to a level 85: Tier 3 (and the duty badges required). Nation Wars. And new advanced trueforms for level 89+ with new bonuses.

So, Nation Wars came out. The first week it happened people were getting 500+ Supply Tokens in 2 hours, each worth 1 rapture or 5 cannies. Since the rap price then was around 1.3 that was around 650m in 2 hours... effectively crashing the vana market since farming raps and cannies in NW is about 75x more effective. So raps and cannies have dropped to almost nothing, cannies are worth about the same prices as mirages now. Prior to NW Nirvana first and second tier were pretty hard to farm and took players weeks to month to do. Now the raps/cannies portion can be done in 2 hours. And the 1200 cannies+300 raps required for Summerwind Tokens to make r9r gear were only for the super rich. Again, it takes people 3-6 NWs to get them now.

So endgame gear became much more available to everyone, but it kind of killed all other farming markets like TT. When 95% of your weekly profit is made in 2 hours on Friday and Sunday night people tend to only play then.

Nationwars are 4 nations competing in multiple 20 v 20 capture the flag events. You enter maps in wars that can last anywhere from 3mins to 15 mins with the goal of getting the flag and delivering it to the enemies capture point. You get points by doing... anything. Dealing damage, taking damage, buffing, running the flag... For each battle you gain contribution points (more if you win the battle) and at the end the proportion of lands your nation owns is factored in with your contribution to recieve tokens.

Edit: I wanted to throw in that even though NW is still very decent profit the market has dropped to the point that it barely pays for charms costs and is at a more normal profit rate now.

Second is G16 and r9t3 gear. With N2 (Nirvana second cast) and r9r (r9 recast) becoming so much easier to achieve people moved onto the third tier equipment, N3 and r9t3. To craft these you need Duty Badges, which you get from killing "Vile" bosses in Lunar and Warsong. You also need the mold for these, which each boss drops a specific part (ie Warsong Metal boss drops boot molds, Warsong Fire boss drops wrists molds...) So a new form of farming is farming for Duty badges. Some people also sell crafting services and charge per Duty Badge used.

Third is the new veno form. You have to be level 89 and have your culti up to date to start about a 2 hour long quest chain. Once completed you get 2 new skill books. One is advanced true form and gives your sage/demon veno a new skill bonus, the other is an appearance change so you look like a ninetails fox and costs 5m. For both sages and demons it no longer costs mp to change into fox form or lowers your total mp. Sages gain 35 chi each time they go into fox form and 35 chi when they come out. Demons gain -5% chance of enemy attacks being crits.
Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory

    100*

You have to be level 100+ to LEARN the new transformation skills.

The Pre-Requisite is to have learned Sage/Demon True Form or whatever the veno version is named.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't they called Basic Badges?

True Form is for barbs, venos have Foxform.

Yeah, Basic Badges, Duty Badges are what you need to get into and start Cube, or to get Rebirth Orders (if you don't have enough from accepting BH100 Delta.)

****. I am so out dated here. I need a PWI dictionary to understand what is being said.
Before I left I leveled up my skills as far as I can for my level and not being in a guild that held land. I manufactured my TT gear by buying the mats via catshoppers.

I soloed most this game and luckily got help on the cult quests to keep me current.
looks like I am a level 85 noob that has a pure mana build that lets my pet do the fighting.
I never event got to go into FC because I needed to be in a squad of 3 85+ members.
I wasn't going to pay for "heads" when I just wanted to get my quests done.

I don't even know what is going on anymore(looks like I never did).

Well.......Thanks all for taking the time out to help.b:thanks

It is true what they say. patience is a virtue and ignorance is bliss. translates to "if u r slow and stupid ( like me) the world is yours"

also Confucius say " a wise man is one that knows that he knows nothing".

Mystic is a much better soloist and you can share non rank equips with your veno.

I cried when mystics came out. It was hard for me to get where I am because of the cult quests. I spent up to a week finding help on a cult quest. This game would be perfect if skills where not based on finishing very hard quests.

I made a mystic before getting back to my veno only to find it being a ghost town. I guess players power leveled to arch via manufacturing shards. lol

I wish the guild I was in was still in game(I forget name but I ran into a member and he told me it was dissolved).

I will try the mystic path again. while my veno is afk meditating.
