free gold scammers on lost city server

GMs, "free gold" scammers started to spam our world chat a few hours ago (they are even using horns). You will have a problem with many **** accounts soon (ppl will never learn and we have too many little kids on our server).
Please take action, thank you.


PS: For all the noobs who visit the website "just out of curiosity" and believe they are safe if they don't enter any data there: ever heard about a keylogger? Even just watching a picture on a phishing website is enough to download/activate one.

    Hello there :)
    The best way to get a start on taking action is to send screenshots of said spam through a ticket , this will be the easiest way to take action, and get the ban hammer on these spammers. if you need to know where to find your screenshots, check here in this guide. Good luck!

    This is happening on the weekend and the gms ticket service only Que's on the weekend. We need someone fast they have got to several accounts already. Someone thought to be nice enough to go to the site and "screenshot it" to send a ticket in to pwi to let them know they were there and the keylogger in the site got them. This one is particularly nasty because it is in the bios that fast and crashed his system. Do the forum mods have access to the gm's somehow?

    this site is not a legit pwi web site it may look like its real thing but its not name of the website is *We dont want people clicking on unfamiliar links* - Kris there been a person today spamming wc with that site... GIFTpw is the name of the player spamming wc..

    May I once again make this suggestion to PWI. PLAYER MODS IN GAME. You have a handful of actual GM's working for the company that you have BEYOND spread thin by making them in charge of multiple games.

    Player mods are a free resource for your company that can be used effectively in game. You can give them some small compensation per month like 5 free gold or something (which this would cost you nothing because it is virtual goods anyway) to help monitor these servers.

    This version of this game gave you the money to buy and expand with all these other games, and the LEAST you can do is give us a more effective measure to be able to report and address problems in this game. The private servers do a far better job at this than you do, and they do it with free resources. I do not want to play on those servers, I want the real deal, but I do not want to have to wait for weeks for responses to tickets, have to go hunt people down on forums or calling the company a gazillion times to get someone to respond. You see a player mod answered my request. Use them in the game as well. Hell, I would do it for you at this point just to safeguard the game play.

    I just use blacklist,if yours is full then you have a issue yourself
    This game is like washing hair with shampoo... Rinse and repeat if desired.

    If you suspect you are infected with this said keylogger, you can use the On-Screen keyboard on the login screen to bypass it. Or any other On-Screen keyboard for that matter.

    but who ever doing that gotta hope GM find their IP or idk ..and bans

    but next time really...think twice.. before u do something b:surrender

    And on Heavens Tear earlier today using Horns. Somebody said in faction chat they saw a GM a bit afterwards so hope they got the banstick.

    I don't think much of it. Some of the first MMOs I played the Gold Spammers would try and out spam one another advertising different sites, and that's all you would see in towns. PWI is far from those "sewers". I've played some pretty badly run MMOs so seems quite a minor issue to me.

    Whenever i see this kinda issue going on world chat or in pms i just take a screenshot of it and send it to Support Team, i think all of us should do it to get rid off this bloody scammers.
    Sadly a friend of mine got scammed he is just 12 years old boy didn't knew what he was doing    . b:sad
